@TheRealDrTazPHd@libsoftiktok You clearly have no idea how easy it is for a non-idiotic pedestrian to avoid getting hit by a car in a parking lot. Especially when said pedestrian is firing a weapon at the driver.
@IgobyRobertO@eMTBrides@grok Pretty good, actually. Most reasearch tends to converge unless something revolutionary is thought up. With respect to stealing IP, really… why not? It saves time and resources and then lets you build and improve from a new level.
@EdgeInvestingg@elonmusk Something a teacher told us, I think in grade 5, and that I am seeing to be more and more true is that money is a just one currency. Once you have a lot of money the new currency becomes power and control. Money is the gateway to power.
@lfwsand@seti_park “I’m not rich”… can’t patent stuff and build satellites without a lot of money or back other ideas. And, while I thought of these things, just like Musk, it doesn’t mean I can implement.
@SaturnsReaper@Kekius_Sage I found it interesting that proving 1+1=2 was more complicated than proving there is always a larger number (numbers are countably infinite?)
@hamptonism This is only a partial story and the size of the bubbles is meaningless. 301% of nothing is still nothing. And that -65% of nothing is a HUGE portion of that nothing.
@ancam0398@StillUnscripted@ItsDeanBlundell You need to learn how tariffs work. Tariffs are placed by the IMPORTING country’s government, paid by the IMPORTING company, and passed on the the IMPORTING consumer. This is YOUR government TAXING YOU without calling it a tax.
@slumskull @Charalanahzard You have no idea what a tariff is. This is being called a “tariff”, but it’s a tax. The importing company will pay it and pass the cost on to you. To put it bluntly, YOU pay the tariff.
@TheNo1OGGolfer@NoorAlTrades Sometimes it’s better to keep silent and have people think you’re an idiot than to make a stupid comment and remove all doubt. TARIFFS ARE IMPOSED BY THE COUNTRY DOING THE IMPORTING, NOT THE SENDING NATION.
@Sstovers @_Iconicmovies The Day After Tomorrow is probably the stupidest movie ever produced. Suspension of disbelief was not even possible watching this abomination. This movie made Louie Le Prince turn in his grave and say, “Qu’est ce-que fuck?”
@andzjones88 @Rantor2112@PrincessBravato Was in the UK twice last year. Saw a fair number of Fords. Not as many as domestic brands, but they were not rare. But domestic brands are built better. And most decent pubs have a variety of liquors available, including bourbons. But why bother when Scotch is local?
@Rantor2112 @lostindistress0 @PrincessBravato A tariff is used to protect domestic business. It helps prevent flooding a market with goods that are cheaper than can be domestically produced. What Trump is doing is using tariffs as a tax, not a protective measure. Prices will go up and they will not come down again.
@anderson62SWFL@MAGACult2 You don’t even know how tariffs work. Your remark is so inane that I would guess your only meaningful contribution in life is that your breathing helps plants grow.
