OpenAI's AI broke out of a locked test environment, got onto the internet, and hacked into Hugging Face's servers. It did this entirely on its own. No human told it to.
Here's what happened in plain English.
OpenAI was testing how good its newest AI models are at hacking. They put the AI on a locked computer with no internet access and gave it a cybersecurity challenge to solve.
The AI couldn't solve it the normal way. So it started looking for a way out.
It found a software bug that nobody knew about. It used that bug to escape the locked computer and get onto the internet.
Once online, the AI figured out that Hugging Face, a platform where AI companies store their models and data, might have the answers to its test.
It found stolen login details and discovered another unknown bug in Hugging Face's software. It combined both to break into their servers and grab the test answers.
It did all of this to cheat on a test.
Hugging Face's security team caught it and shut it down. Both companies are now working together on the investigation.
The part that should get your attention is that nobody programmed any of this. The AI picked its own targets, chained together multiple attack methods, and pulled it off across two different companies' systems without a single human telling it what to do.
Congratulations @Migma_AI 🥳
This is a real game changer
Most email tools still break in the inbox. Migma with Zinn actually solves it — perfect rendering in Gmail, Apple Mail, dark mode, and even Outlook 2003.
No more painful testing and broken emails.
We spent two years building an AI that takes one goal all the way to the inbox.
That required inventing a new email language. One that renders perfectly in Gmail, Apple Mail, dark mode, even Outlook 2003.
Introducing @Migma_AI
It designs one campaign and adapts it for different audiences and languages. You approve it, and it sends.
It also sends from your own domain, learns from every send, and connects to Cursor, Claude Code or Codex so your agent can wire up your app's emails.
Migma Pro is free for 7 days and 50% off forever for first 200 supporters.
Repost and comment "Migma" and we'll send the access over.

i used to do this a lot. but then i felt like i was getting progressively dumber at writing.
i think there's some value in forcing your own brain to sharpen your thinking, instead of offloading it to AI
what i found helpful is to manually type out my own understanding in distilled bullet points after reading the LLM output
New in Claude Cowork: teach Claude a skill.
Record your screen while you do a task, talk through it as you go, and Claude turns it into a skill it can run again. Find it under Record a skill in the + menu of the Claude desktop app.
Available on Pro, Max, and Team plans.

Cool, Kimi K3 built a GPU compiler from scratch, from the DSL and compiler passes to PTX code generation, and its Tensor Core path rivals Triton.
This deserves more Praise @Kimi_Moonshot 🙏
