I have tried calling the distributor multiple times—they don’t pick up or call back. Even the official Toll-Free number 1800-22-4344 is not connecting. I am completely stranded with no support from the company. This level of negligence is unacceptable.

So I decided to upgrade to the new ChatGPT Go plan — the one that’s supposed to be “free for 12 months”.

The process looked simple:
Just verify your preferred UPI payment method by paying Re 1 to create an auto mandate.

I completed the payment successfully — here’s the proof 👇

But guess what? Despite the payment going through, the ChatGPT website still doesn’t acknowledge it.

The transaction shows “Completed” on Google Pay, credited to OpenAI LLC, but ChatGPT refuses to move ahead.

So now, I’m stuck — ₹1 deducted, mandate created, but no access to the Go plan.

For a company that builds the world’s most advanced AI models, you’d think setting up a simple UPI verification would be… well, smarter.

Has anyone else faced this issue? @OpenAI @ChatGPTapp — please fix your payment verification system for Indian users 🙏
