Nitrode Research

Research lab advancing game development.

Today, @NitrodeResearch is excited to present where we're headed as a company, and what's next - read our @ycombinator launch below:

Welcome to the team, @SkyeSharkie!

Okay! So I'm finally ready to announce the company I joined. A few weeks ago I joined @NitrodeResearch as a Founding Member of Technical Staff! We're working on frontier research and training, currently with a focus on games and 3d! We're helping models learn how to be better game developers and artists! :)

🧵 (END) That makes the benchmark valuable not only for game development, but also for evaluating whether coding agents can operate inside complex framework-driven software systems more broadly. Review the benchmark: https://t.co/RHRWM2uCvi.

We’re proud to introduce GameEngineBench at
@NitrodeResearch, a benchmark for evaluating coding agents on real C++ runtime environments. Excited to share where we're headed as well.

Detailed 🧵 below.

[Nitrode Research @NitrodeResearch]

🧵GameEngineBench matters because game engines are an unusually dense testbed for agentic coding: they combine real-time simulation, rendering, physics, interaction, networking, assets, and stateful runtime behavior.

We just wrapped up the @ycombinator W25 batch last week, and we're hiring! We’re looking for founding engineers and summer interns to help shape the future of game creation. Check out our roles here: https://t.co/peGjGQJQsB

Know someone cracked enough to join our team? If we hire them, we’ll give you a $3K referral bonus for our next founding engineer or $100 for a summer intern. Drop their name here: https://t.co/I3UbnsefNm
