146 gems duped with this in the first level of the game
Sunny Villa is unique in the game to allow this. It was built as a "tutorial" level, where small enemies do not damage Spyro, while large enemies are set to all laugh at Spyro whenever he gets damaged. (1/3)
A new spyro 3 runner called "robthegamer115" just discovered some kind of strange gem duplication glitch on their first 117% speedrun
This could have huge implications if this is replicable on multiple enemies.
@ThaRixer bonus: here's how you need to perform the dupe on one of the enemies; it's too far from other enemies to get hit after defeating him normally...
@ThaRixer so far, we found you can get up to 94 extra gems off this single dupe ๐
that's over 15 times more than all other dupes combined (that I can think of)
and it's free
@XandoToaster I was starting to really think I was having a seizure because everytime I saw you qrt that, it seemed like we you're saying something different. Turns out in not having a seizure.
Spyro 1 by far most boring Sprash game, magic crafters is cool but other than that im zzzzzzzzzz and this is coming from guy who plays Makin' Waves in C3 30 times a day idk man the runners are passionate but the game is turbo sleeper every category get me out go next gimme S2/3.
@GamesDoneQuick I have registered, paid and got a confirmation email, but the "green checkmark on the page" is nowhere to be seen. Should I be worried?
@GamesDoneQuick I suppose it's worth an update: my reservation was updated to only show a +$10 for third guess ($149 total), which I suppose is how they do "triples and quads" (which btw seems to be the number of guests)
@GamesDoneQuick I see... that was an extra charge of $20 per guest above 2. Not really happy that that wasn't mentioned anywhere before checking the listing
