Hello everyone! Today I've got a whole bunch of goodies related to Spyro's development, courtesy of Craig Stitt, which I'm ready to share with you all.
@RichDevX@StonedModder I haven’t had time to produce dongles for the new build yet myself, but the later dongles won’t work - for now just patching the game using the provided xdelta is enough!
Hello! A user called MG423 just surprised us with a dump of a new Spyro prototype, and in fact the earliest one to date.
Documentation is still ongoing, but you can read about this build and play it for yourself by downloading it here:

@shadowlifeman@MomokaRage@SpyroUniverse Hey, I don’t suppose you have any other images of those dragon eggs do you? They actually seem to be based on some early designs for the in-game dragon eggs, I’m pretty interested in seeing what the blue one looks like up close. Thanks in advance!!
@driverdis2go I’ve included a couple of tools that can help with the anti-tamper! If you use the decomp to build a modded version of the game (such as the double jump mod) it’ll correct the checksums for you. GameShark codes / mods that are applied during gameplay can still be an issue though
A Spyro the Dragon artwork disc has been uploaded as part of @GameHistoryOrg 's GamePro collection. There's some lovely concept art in here that I don't think I've seen before!

Since hosting files on Discord is a bad idea, I've dropped each of the released versions of the Randomiser and 3.5 onto the Internet Archive:

Hello! Today I am presenting the August 23rd, 2000 build of Crash Bash and the September 4th, 2000 build of Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Thank you to @HiddenPalaceOrg for hosting me on stream and helping me with this release!
@grampaglasses There probably is, though having looked at one other enemy’s code it seems likely that most of them aren’t coded in exactly this way (e.g. in Icy Peak it can’t change to a taunting state whilst already in a dying state)
Having looked into this, what’s basically happening is that this Rhynoc has a particularly strange interaction if you get hurt while it’s in its dying state. This isn’t usually possible, but it is if the Rhynoc’s death is extended by it falling off the island.
A new spyro 3 runner called "robthegamer115" just discovered some kind of strange gem duplication glitch on their first 117% speedrun
This could have huge implications if this is replicable on multiple enemies.
@SpyroTheDragon@copelandmusic Several tracks across the trilogy didn’t make the cut or ended up being used somewhere that wasn’t originally planned. Roughly how much of the music was used differently to your original vision, and how much ended up never being used at all?
