Both games vs Bulls were on 2nd night of Back2Back vs well rested Chicago team that didn’t have to travel for either game.

Brown,Brembry,Carter are 3 redundant undersized “Defensive” Guards w/ no Offensive threat.

No excuses but Nets kinda treated it like mid season game while LAC were more desperate since their players needed to prove themselves more.

Din was UFA and Nets helped him out for his years of service and created $11m trade exception.

Kyrie was expected to play so paying $64m per year for Din between Salary/Luxury made little sense.

For Nets every “$1=$4” in taxes.

Nets would of had went from a $40m Luxury Tax to $114m just signing Din.

Not including the $5.9m Tax MLE and other players needed signing.

Brooklyn could draft a Player and trade his Player Rights to a team before he signs as a Rookie.

That’s a way to bypass the rule against trading away back to back 1st’s since Player Rights aren’t considered the same as Picks.

I remember a graph being put up during a game before the Crash trade showing the Nets SF depth was so bad it was like playing 4 vs 5.

Crash was just physically shot because of his play style. Dude couldn’t even make an open layup.

They travel the most in the NBA since teams in their Division are so far away. They’re so much closer to more Eastern teams by comparison.

@Kyrie25101635 @BillyReinhardt Believe if the Nets receive a “Player” back then they’re Hard Capped and lose Tax MLE (3y/$18m) and Bi-Annual(2y/$7.6m).

If Nets receive Draft Compensation (like 1st-2nd) I don’t think they’re Hard Capped in a Sign and Trade.

Plus Nets would get a $20m+ Trade Exception I think.

Only reason he was traded was because he was upset his locker was given away while he was away from the Cav’s.

Nets could have made a trade offer after the fact since they still had 3 open roster spots + 2nd’s to trade.

If Nets know they’re not going to be able to re-sign him then it’s better to get something before he walks and Nets get nothing out of it.

D’Lo had loose bodies in his knee and Kyrie is often injured since Duke.

None are the Nets fault.

In 2018 Carroll had what appeared to be season ending knee injury and credited Nets for a 3 week return.

Have to fill 1 spot by March 22nd and trade deadline is March 25th.

Early April is deadline for teams to sign Playoff eligible players to rosters.

Nets likely sign a few 10 Day deals to keep the 14 of 15 necessary roster spots till then.

@JoeImperial24 @NetsDaily Shamet was a terrible trade but in the Offseason the Nets had Center Depth.

Allen-Jordan-Claxton and even Perry on a 2way. Plus Green as Small Ball C.

Allen was traded, Claxton is hurt, Jordan is washed up, and Perry was a late 2nd Rd Rookie who obviously needs some time.
