Now birthdays pass like any other day for many.

You can call 100 the whole day, and no one picks up.

Maybe they seem like small things, but those little customer-first touches are part of what made Bob Collymore’s era stand out.

Your baby's cry is literally designed to be impossible to ignore.

JUST WONDERING HOW MOMS are supposed to work 9-5, drop the kids off at school at 8 AM, pick them up by 3 PM, stay on top of school activities, meal prep, cook dinner, keep the house clean, do the laundry, run the kids to extracurricular activities, climb the corporate ladder, save sick days for when the kids are sick, be a good friend, daughter, and partner, all while trying to take care of their own body and mental health…

Thought i was the only one noticing that brookside products are becoming rare in naivas

There’s an interesting thing that happens when supermarkets start producing their own branded items.

Now they’re quietly becoming competitors.

The last time I went to Naivas I saw Naivas milk and couldn’t find brookside milk coz it was out of stock. I’ve used brookside for over 10 years and now the shelves are changing. Was shocked to notice Carrefour milk too.


You’ll notice supermarket brands are almost always cheaper than the well-known ones. Hehe, strategy they say and they’ve better shelf placement where you can’t miss them🤣

But here’s where the customer mind gets interesting. For me, cheap is not always a choice.

It’s Saturday morning and just realized I have a few pieces of milk and I need a quick Brookside milk delivery from Carrefour. Guess whatis fully available? The supermarket’s own brand. Of course. 🤣 … not my darling Brookside.

This is a subtle shift. We’re now competing on control of supply, shelf space and visibility.

I’d like to know… are you’re choosing cheaper option because you want it…
or because it’s the easiest one left to choose?

What's crazy about motherhood is that you have to be consistent with things pertaining your baby e.g introducing a bottle, new food, sleep training etc. baby will fight you very hard but you just have to be consistent. It's utter madness.
