The Big Tent Agenda for 2027 on Education to which one identical candidate and some South South Gubernatorial candidates have already subscribed demands a radical emergency be declared in education with the centre designating a champion to coordinate horizontal and vertical partnerships to produce results on agreed measurable goals, including sharp reductions in the number of out of school children.
On the vertical axis will be the three levels of government with different designated focus areas, and on the horizontal will be Government, Private sector and communities led by parents.
The general thrust of policy will be towards functional education for job creation and economic growth based on factor endowments and value chains derived from them. Underpinning all education would be character education to affect culture in acknowledgment that values shape human progress.. The wise know that corruption and other elements of culture underline why Nigeria’s growth has been retarded. Education that does not address that will be dysfunctional.
From this framework flows the dimensions of the approach to functional education in the Big Tent prescription shared by Obi and Kwankwaso.

“Do I look terrible with the beard? Should I change it?“.

As a diasporean Obidient who donated previously on several platforms, I don't need to request for detailed expenses. I'll still donate again until PO is no longer on ballot, then I focus on my vacations. It'll be my contribution to a better Nigeria. A new Nigeria is POssible ✌️
I'm breaking my silence.
Manchester United will never return to its former glory until there is a fundamental change in ownership.
Sacking Michael Carrick is yet another example of the same failed playbook. Blame the manager, distract the fans, launch another PR campaign, and deflect attention from the real problem: the incompetence and lack of accountability at boardroom level.
Manager after manager has come and gone. Different philosophies, different players, different promises. Yet the same failures continue.
At what point do we stop blaming the managers and start holding the people running this football club accountable?
I no longer believe our owners genuinely prioritise winning. Manchester United has become a commercial machine where the brand generates money regardless of what happens on the pitch.
And perhaps that's the biggest tragedy. Our loyalty is being monetised, our frustration exploited, and our misery has become part of their business model.
I have supported this club through the highs and lows, but for the first time, I genuinely fear for its future.
Manchester United was built on ambition, courage, pride and winning. Not corporate excuses, endless rebuilds and PR spin.
The managers keep changing. The promises keep changing. The results don't.
The problem isn't the dugout. It's the boardroom.
Enough is enough. #GlazersAndRatCliffeOut OUT. 🔴
BREAKING: The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States, Gautier Mignot, has said Nigeria probably has the highest number of people living below the poverty threshold globally, describing poverty as one of the country’s biggest challenges.
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike hits Atiku, Obi and Amaechi during his induction into the Idoma Hall of Fame.
Wike said: "You know politicians can tell lies. Yes! A man who, as a governor, never celebrated his birthday in IDP camps, now wants to do it there because he wants to be president. And you'll say he's humble. Which humility is that?
You see a man who has never eaten corn by the roadside. He goes, buys corn and groundnuts, and says he relates with poor people. Who are you deceiving? You were a governor and you didn't buy corn on the road. Now you want to be president. When they vote for you, will you still go and buy corn on the road? Who are you deceiving?
You enter your car and go to a filling station and say, 'Oh, look at the cost of fuel.' Do you need to go there before you know the cost? And then some of you will say, 'Oh, these are the type of people we want, very humble, you see the way he drove himself.' Haaa, Nigeria, Nigeria!"

🚨💣 BREAKING:
Lisandro Martínez does NOT want his contract extended and is looking for an exit, while United also have doubts about triggering the option to extend it by another year. The feeling is his preferred destination would be Spain, should he leave.

@ChrisWheelerDM You can hear him say the players need to do more including himself and as one of the leader in the group if no one has the balls to say it so I think he has the right to to say it
Truth has no two ways of saying it or who is saying it
@samuelluckhurst This is Man United and not Ajax so let us face the reality and leave the pass like it or not he just said the truth and there's no better way in saying that
🚨🎙️Andy Mitten on Lisandro Martínez’s explosive interview:
“It’s a grenade from him. It’s a big story. It’s headline news. I think he’ll find a lot of Manchester United fans actually agreeing with him because a lot of fans are frustrated after a very poor start to the season.
But for a player to come out and be explicitly critical of the sporting director, it’s pretty new, partly because Manchester United have never had sporting directors.
“I think it’s hugely significant if it’s how he’s feeling. He’s entitled to that opinion. I think it presents a real problem for the club in how they deal with this.”
