He was born into a non-Christian home.

Then he had friends who were Catholics, and he started joining them for Block Rosary. Through those friendships, he encountered the Catholic faith, became drawn to it, enrolled in Catechism classes, and eventually became an altar server.

His desire to become a priest was further inspired by his parish priest, the way he carried himself, his pastoral zeal, and the beautiful relationship he had with his parishioners.

And today, Rev. Joseph Chinonso Ekwealor is going to be ordained a Catholic priest. 💃🥹❤️

What a beautiful reminder that the people we surround ourselves with can change the trajectory of our lives.

Sometimes, a simple invitation from a friend, to pray the Rosary, attend Mass, or simply come along to church can become the beginning of a completely new life.

May we always choose friendships that draw us closer to God. And may we never underestimate the impact our own example can have on someone else's journey.

From a non-Christian home, to Block Rosary, to the altar, and now to the Catholic priesthood. ❤️‍🔥
