⚠️ IMPORTANT⚠️ Israel didn’t “escalate.” It carried out a terrorist attack deep inside Beirut’s southern suburbs, a targeted assassination executed in the middle of a civilian neighbourhood. Five people have been reported killed & at least twenty-five injured. This is state terrorism, plain & unvarnished.

Let it known the United States was not a bystander. It was involved. A senior American official told Axios:
“The United States has known for days that Israel was planning to escalate in Lebanon.”

If Washington had advance knowledge of an attack in one of the most densely populated civilian districts of Beirut & did nothing to prevent it, that is not neutrality. It is complicity, no ifs or buts. They could have stopped it, but they chose to let it happen. They blessed the murder of Lebanese civilians.

The strike targeted senior Hezbollah commander Sayyed Haitham Ali Tabatabai. There is still no confirmation on his fate. But regardless of what Israel claims, this was an operation deliberately carried out inside a civilian area, with civilians absorbing the cost.

This attack is not an isolated act. It is part of a coordinated pressure campaign aimed squarely at Lebanon’s presidency, its military leadership, & the political establishment. The message is blunt:

Accept American demands. Move against Hezbollah. Facilitate disarmament. Or Israel will keep striking Lebanese territory, with full U.S. cover.

Nothing about this resembles “regional stability.”
It is coercion, it’s intimidation, it’s the deliberate use of Lebanese civilians as leverage to force political outcomes Washington & Tel Aviv have failed to achieve for decades & they will fail again,

Washington has already admitted its intentions.
Tom Barrack stated openly weeks ago that the United States is not arming the Lebanese Army to defend Lebanon from Israel, only to push it into internal confrontation. The goal is not sovereignty, nor security. It is to remake Lebanon through pressure, division, & fear.

So let’s name it clearly:
•A terrorist attack carried out by Israel.
•Advance U.S. knowledge & silent endorsement.
•Five killed, twenty-five injured.
•A senior commander targeted inside a civilian neighbourhood.
•A strategy designed to force Lebanon toward internal conflict.

There is no ambiguity here.
Two states acting with impunity & Lebanese civilians paying the price yet again.
