ARC Raiders Store Update 2.1.0 is now out!

Patch highlights:
• PvE toggle Beta Test is live, October 13-20
• Carrion Set is available in the store

Content and bug fixes:

Animation:
• Character models no longer appear enlarged
• Vaults onto Matriarch, Vaporizer, Hydra, and Firefly remains no longer launch you or debris
• Shoulder swaps now have a short cooldown before the character changes sides again

Audio:
• Outdoor footsteps are quieter, and volume is balanced across surfaces
• Melee hits on weak points have clearer visual and audio feedback
• Repeated shoulder swapping no longer cuts footstep audio
• Cowboy emote now has sound effects

ARC:
• Frigate hatches deal burning damage over time when they open
• Frigate cargo collision is smoother, so curved surfaces are less likely to trap you
• Frigate cargo drop adjusted to stop unintended knockouts
• Throwables no longer interact incorrectly with certain Emperor doors

Cosmetic:
• Missing Zenith Outfit toggles go to players who have finished their fifth Expedition
• Equipped weapon stencils show their rarity in the weapon tooltip

Gameplay:
• Broad Shoulders now activates on spawn, and inventory weight updates after loading in, so you can sprint when under the raised carry limit
• Field Repair works after unlocking even if you already played a round that session. A restart is no longer required
• Camera no longer shakes when another player or vegetation passes between you and the camera while firing
• Weight values no longer calculate incorrectly right after loading into a round
• Fight or Flight no longer skips the Sprinting on Fumes penalty

Items:
• Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings now need Skulker Targeters to research, not Skulker Drivers
• Stamina-restoring consumables cannot be used during the Sprinting on Fumes cooldown, so they cannot skip the penalty

Grappling Hook:
• Vaulting onto ledges and roofs is easier, especially on Pendola Pass. Auto-vault is more reliable at the top of rope climbs, and ending a swing on walkable ground is more consistent
• Fixed swings from objects too light to hold your weight
• The hook no longer detaches from fast-moving objects like the Ballistic Gondola on lift-off
• The rope wraps around geometry while the hook is in flight
• Grappling Hooks and Tether Launchers release if you are downed by fall damage
• Hooks and Tether Launchers at 0 durability break instead of being destroyed

Maps:
• Frigate round spawns adjusted so you start closer to the action in some cases
• Rocky terrain vaulting and traversal improved, with less sliding after a climb
• Tunnel props no longer disappear when viewed from above
• Lighting and reflections improved in Frigate areas and on Dam Battlegrounds
• Shelter doors give more space beside them, so opening one is less likely to squeeze you
• Collision, clipping, gaps, and stuck spots fixed across several maps

Pendola Pass:
• Players inside the Gondola while extracting are no longer eliminated
• Terrain and collision cleaned up: gaps, clipping, hard-to-traverse spots, visual pop-in, and unintended areas
• Railyard spot now lets you jump or auto step up as expected
• Station canopy footstep and impact sounds corrected, and VFX no longer show through surfaces
• Interior snow and terrain blending adjusted so landscape does not clip into buildings
• Night lighting is darker, with reduced visibility
• ARC Frigate cargo drop points moved for better access and less clipping

Quests:
• Quest objective progress bars display correctly in Speranza
• Loot-icon areas on Pendola Pass now count for "Picking Up the Pieces"
• "Sizing Things Up" cinematics play after the quest is completed

Performance:
• Lower memory use on Spaceport, Buried City, and Dam Battlegrounds, especially on Xbox Series S

UI:
• Gondola markers show on the compass and map out to 175 meters, up from 120
• Long-range pings on Skulker and Bully place more accurately
• In the Weapon Amplification tree, hovering or focusing an upgrade highlights the path to that node unless it is blocked
• Spectating now shows squadmates' HUD info, including Shield
• New weapon stencils have an indicator and seen-state tracking in customization

Reward Pass:
• Pass progress fixed. The End-of-Round screen no longer counts milestones from earlier rounds
• Completion screen button labels updated, wrong premium icon removed from non-upgrade buttons, and layout adjusted so images and text are not cropped
• Reward Pass tile no longer overstates completed levels. Completion icon and "Completed" label aligned
• Details screen shows the name of the active pass

Outpost:
• Module recipes leave the tracker after you install them
• Orange indicator on the Outpost tab when a project step is completed
• Leaving Customization no longer leaves the view out of focus
• Exiting decorate mode in a module returns you to that room, not the base room

Skill Tree:
• Field Salvaging shows the right items if unlocked after a round in the same session
• Interrupting Field Salvaging or Field Repair no longer locks camera movement
• End of Round inventory weight and max loadout weight now include skills such as Reduced Weapon Encumbrance and Max Carry Weight

Weapons:
• Semi-Auto Amplification for the Hairpin now applies reduced headshot damage

ARC Raiders PvE Toggle Beta Test is starting tomorrow!

Embark says you can switch between normal PvPvE and new PvE-only servers during the test

How PvE servers work:

- Players can't damage each other
- Stun, fire and other throwables won't affect other players
- Barricades and ziplines work like normal
- Loot is worth less overall
- Squads of different sizes will run into each other more often
- Night Raid, Locked Gate, Hidden Bunker, Frigate and Redirection have no PvE option
- ARC can go after downed players once an 8 second grace period ends
- Queues may be slower in quiet regions and at off-peak hours
- Normal PvPvE matchmaking stays the same during the test

Embark wants feedback from both sides, and a survey goes out after the test ends

It will run from October 13 to 20
