Activities:
❌ $META : Sold 100% of my Meta stock before earnings with profit (simplifying my portfolio + had the feeling that the earnings will result in a bad move for stock price)
🛒: $SOFI : Good earnings - bad stock move was a good situation to increase my shares about 50%
Dividends💸: about 5€
Just for clarity: I will not share any concrete numbers. With adding this "stat" I just want to show how my dividends evolve while I invest month after my month in my dividend ETF.
Conclusion:
Right know, because of personal reasons, I do not have a lot of time for a lot of research. That results in not a lot of actions in my portfolio.
But as a lot of statistics shown that fewer actions in a lot of times result in a better performance - maybe thats not too bad. That means probably less dummer decisions on my end 😂
Im happy with my current situation. My return 4x since January 1. 2026 (mostly because of $ASML and $AMD gains) even so my biggest position is still red, so my mindset in the moment is that I already "made my homework".
Im confident in the companies I own - I will add positions if Im really confident in them and I have a lot of cash available if opportunities emerge.
I will not buy stocks only because someone on X is confident about them - I have to do my work and inform myself about opportunities and be confident about them.
If I do not have the time for that kind of research I rather do nothing than buy something I do not have confidence or knowledge in.
Fewer decisions with confidence 🧠> being at "every party 🚫"

Has someone looked in to a new exciting company in the last time 👀?
Take care guys 😎✌🏻
Awesome summary 🤘🏻
Someone should be happy that the market gives you such opportunites with an well growing company that is growing their moat with those investments.
If those margin compressions would have come out of the blue, than I could understand such a stock price move - but now im thinking about adding more 😄
$MELI quarter is a perfect example of why investing isn’t as simple as margins up = good or margins down = bad.
Bears see:
• Operating margin DOWN
• Net income DOWN
• Another quarter of profit compression
Bulls see the WHY behind margin compression:
• Record revenue (+50%)
• Commerce + Fintech engagement accelerating
• Free shipping expansion widening moat and customer relations
• Logistics buildout
• Credit card & lending expansion
None of these investments maximize this quarter’s earnings. They’re designed to maximize the size of MercadoLibre’s ecosystem five years from now.
The real question isn’t whether margins fell. Management forecasted this and it was fully expected.
It’s whether today’s margin sacrifice creates a wider moat, higher customer lifetime value, and substantially greater free cash flow over the next decade.
In my opinion, it’s obvious. That’s the investment thesis.
$MELI Q2 2026: "The opportunity ahead of us is enormous, as Latin America's digital economy is still in the early stages of a transformation we expect to play out over decades, not years."
yep and say it louder for the people in the back
