I want to be rich. But not Lamborghini
or Rolex rich, I want to be rich enough to go to the gym at 3pm and nobody can tell me no. To tap the family in front of me at the supermarket and say, "It's on me," Rich enough that my future wife never has to worry about getting a job. Rich enough to show my children the world, not pictures of it. Rich enough to take my friends to dinner and say, "| got this", Rich enough that God uses me to help the people who are in need. That's my version of rich.
Dating is so crazy you can be so into somebody & thinking you getting somewhere. Whole time they thinking about & dealing with somebody else or multiple people 😭
Not to mention; 70k a year puts u in the 22% tax bracket whoch means u take home 55k. Which is less than 5k a month, not even considering retirement contributions, health insurance and other employer deductions. And the avg rent in PG county Md for a 1 bedroom is 1800.
Idk how yall saying inflation is crazy but get mad at ppl for saying 70k or 30 an hour aint enough. Its not. Not in 2026 in any NE city atleast, stop trying make it an “individual circumstance” issue, this is a systemic economic issue at hand lol.
people cannot admit that 70k is not a universally good salary because then it disrupts their worldview about how expensive things really are, and that makes them uncomfortable.
This is how I see it...
China is not Communist in the sense that the state owns all the means of production, and there are no market prices (you need at least 2 owners of property for a market to develop).
The U.S. is also not Capitalist.
We don't have sound money, free markets, and respect for private property. Only hints remain.
Both the U.S. and China are a marriage of State & Corporations.
The difference is the hierarchy.
China's hierarchy is State over Corporations.
America's hierarchy is Corporations over the State.
The Chinese state clearly puts China first, and corporations have to conform themselves to that. The Chinese trade with the world and don't invade the world.
America puts everything but America (and especially Israel) first. America invades the world.
The results of both hierarchies are crystal clear.
China is thriving. America is bankrupt.
