donate (even $5 or $10 is great!) to the cause, April, Moose, and all the residents at the ranch would appreciate it more than you know. Link to donate: https://t.co/S3xW9Sxufp
Our dear friend April M North runs a 501(3)(c) (non-profit) animal rescue called Last Dance Rescue Ranch (https://t.co/CsonrsGq5Z). She rescues older and special-medical-needs animals, relies on volunteer support, and largely funds the entire operation out of her own pocket.
Her ranch is home to dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, mules, cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, bunnies, llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats, and more. Her trusty ranch hand - Moose, the border collie dog - is having emergency surgery for a spleen tumor. He needs our support, and if you can
@KevinH_PhD What about sarcopenic obesity? Prevalence rates vary based on definition but can be significant, particularly in aging populations.

@MyNutritionSci That you can treat cancer with nutrition. Nutrition supports cancer treatment, but nutrition alone will not treat cancer effectively. I’ve seen people skip conventional treatment while trying nutrition as a “cure.” Disease spreads and what was curable now may not be.
@Phil_Sledge Pico. Best dog ever. Lost him in November. He was 14. Miss him more than words can describe. Still cry many days. He took a piece of my heart with him.
@mbismark@drstip@FitbodApp I'm not a shill for any supplement co, but FWIW, I like Solgar Cal/Mag - you need 5 pills for RDA/DRI. So, take 1 pill 2-3X daily - rarely do you need full RDA/DRI from pills b/c we do get some from diet. And don't forget the vitamin K - take separate from D for best absorption.
@mbismark@drstip@FitbodApp Vitamin K and magnesium (try Cal/Mag supplement). Spread calcium out in 3 smaller doses throughout the day. Only supplement what you need to fill in gap between dietary calcium and the RDA/DRI to improve absorption and reduce downsides of supplementing.
@herbivore_club Elmhurst walnut and hazelnut milks. Amazing products with 2 ingredients - nuts and water. That’s it. Great taste, great nutritional profile with healthy fats.
