FACT: NC just released its proposed plan to use the $1.43 Billion in congressionally-approved recovery funds. Its open for public comment for 30 days. Then gets reviewed by HUD and approved.

FACT: That process *Will Not Work* if 85% of the HUD office that does it gets laid off!

There is no $1.8 billion from HUD that never arrived.

HUD allocated $1.43 billion in January which is currently in the planning phase.

This process typically takes 6+ months, so we won’t see funds until late summer/fall at the earliest.
