Back To Pitching:

4 weeks ago I suffered a severe sprain in my throwing wrist during a steal/slide. I’ve been able to battle through it both hitting and fielding, but wasn’t able to pitch until this week.

Friday vs. Dist. #1 Canutillo High School: got the start and threw 2 shutout innings with 2K, and added 2 hits at the plate. Limited pitch count to be ready for the next day.

Less than 24 hours later, started our playoff play-in vs. Andress High School: nearly 5 innings, 5K, 5 hits allowed, earned the win + 2 more hits — clinching a playoff spot.

Grateful to be back on the mound and closer to 100%.

Halfway through the season, I am currently ranked (tied) 12th overall in the State of Texas with 21 RBIs. My pitching has also been solid: 1 run given up in last 7 innings pitched. @gowhitman

Hit a walk off double last night vs Hanks. Was 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs heading into this at-bat.

Had a solid Varsity HS tournament in Tuscon this week both pitching and hitting: 4 innings pitched vs Walden Grove on Friday (1 hit, 5k's, 0 runs). Hitting was very productive as well...
