The burnt toast Theory!
The minor setbacks and frustrations you're facing right now? They might just be the hidden catalysts propelling you toward your biggest breakthroughs tomorrow. Embrace the detours, they're often the fastest route to success.
It's an interesting concept check out this video and tell me what you think.
It shouldn't come as a suprise that three judges led by Dame Victoria Sharp of the King Bench Division of the High Court in London declared illegal and gross infringement on human rights the law that proscribed the Palestine Action Group under the Terrorism Law. It was unfathomable that UK, knowing how robust their courts are and their rich tradition and heritage of utmost respect for civil liberties and human rights enacted such retrogressive and reactionary law in the first place. The Home Secretary @ShabanaMahmood is ill-advised to appeal the decision of the High Court.
BBC News, "The UK High Court has ruled that the ban on Palestine Action under terrorism legislation is unlawful"
"Three senior judges said: while Palestine Action uses criminality to promote it's aims, it's activity has not crossed the very high bar to make it a terrorist organisation"
Labour's Baron Hain said this in the House of Lords,
Keir Starmer, Yvette Cooper and Shabana Mahmood are a disgrace for conflating non violent protest and criminal activity, with terrorism
No one should be supporting criminal behaviour, and those engaged it in ought to be prosecuted, but conflating that with terrorism, that's an abuse of power, and Starmer, Cooper and Mahmood should all resign in shame
Politically, H.E RIGATHI GACHAGUA @rigathi and myself are on opposite side of the political divide. He is a Wamunyoroist, while I support H.E @WILLIAMSRUTO's government 100%. We don't see things from the same prism. But Gachagua and myself see and read from the same script when it comes to the problems of North Kenya. Leave alone the history and neglect of the region. Both myself and Gachagua admit/agree the sordid neglect of the north informs the underdevelopment of the region. But we also agree on something else. Corrupt leaders who steal from the poor people of Northern Kenya play an equally important role in the underdevelopment of the region. Since 2013, over Kshs 1 TRILLION was allocated through devolution funds, CDF funds, donors funds and grants from Central government to the Northern counties. A forensic audit will sadly show that 90% of these funds were wasted and misappropriated. Unfortunately, in Kenya, thieves are revered and not prosecuted (can you believe that according to a report released by @EACCKenya last week, Marsabit is the least corrupt county in Kenya? Can anyone take @EACCKenya serious? Instead of fighting corruption it is laundering it). That is why Gachagua's intervention is welcome. I plead with Hon Gachagua to take the fight against corrupt leaders of Northern Kenya to the next level. We need a national convention on the quandary facing the people of the North and the role their political leaders played in their plight. We need a national kamkunji on where the Kshs 1 TRILLION allocated to the Northern counties has gone to? Has it been invested in Nairobi, Dubai etc? What is the record of @EACCKenya in fighting corruption in the Northern counties? Is @EACCKenya an active accomplice of the larceny that is visited on the poor people of Northern Kenya. The government of President Ruto shouldn't allow Gachagua to monopolise this burning and popular topic. The government must openly address this troubling issue. We can no longer remain silent on this corruption genocide of Northern Kenya. Now is the time to speak about it and fight it.
H.E Rigathi Gachagua is unapologetically a Kikuyu supremist and a tribalist class A. But he makes a valid point when he calls out leaders from Northern Kenya and tells the truth about them. Hon Rigathi Gachagua is 💯 right when he says (a) Northern Kenya leaders are thieves who steal from their people and invest public funds in Nairobi, (b) Northern Kenyan leaders can't account for about Kshs 1 trillion given to the region since devolution started in 2013. (c) Northern Kenya leaders have not built world class institutions ie schools, hospitals etc and have EATEN CDF money. (d) Northern Kenyans leaders including MCAs are all domiciled in Nairobi and have homes, wives and children only in Nairobi and none in Northern Kenya. Look at Garissa and Marsabit. Where did Kshs 300 billion in devolution money go to? Leaders steal money left, right and centre and nothing happens. Gachagua is playing politics, but when he talks about Northern Kenyan leaders and how they have let down their people he is being truthful and i'm with him 💯.
Kusongeshewa diameter haikuangi mchezo, a man can never heal. Yesterday Robert Alai almost sent the incoming governor straight to Sayuni. One might think it's Babu Owino who participated in beacon shifting, but according to Alai, Since Aoko is Babu's personal Aide, he is directly involved in the exposé. I totally understand Alai, nishai gongewa Dem campus na dj, nilikua naona mwanaume akona dredi, msambwa inaanza kupanda. I hope Alai will heal soon, otherwise he might end up eliminating alot of boda boda operators in Kileleshwa. Na unajua ukisha songeshewa beacon haiwezi Rudi. Ni mbaya. Chesaa!!
Kenyans,
Come here, again,
Still on SGR and Nairobi Expressway:
By now, we all know that China funded SGR 90% [KES 450 billion]
But to commit, China wanted proof that Kenya can fund the balance 10% [KES 50 billion]
So, Kenya Railways borrowed KES 50 billion from the treasury.
HOWEVER, the treasury deposited KES 644 BILLION [Instead of KES 50 billion]!
This begs the question,
Why did Kenya borrow KES 450 billion from China when it could have funded the entire SGR budget of KES 500 billion?
So, total money received KES 450 [China loan] + KES 50 [Kenya Railway] + KES 594 [GHOST LOAN from treasury] = Total approx KES 1.1 trillion.
Now,
KES 500 billion built the SGR.
Balance = KES 594 Billion.
Of this balance [594 Billion], a portion of it [KES 100 Billion] is suspected to have been used to build the Nairobi Expressway through Proxies, shadowy private companies masquerading as China Roads and Bridge.
So, who took the balance [KES 494 Billion]?
NO EUROBOND built SGR.
NO EUROBOND built Expressway.
Where is EUROBOND?
Let us face Kenyans directly in their eyes and tell them THE TRUTH.
Only a PUBLIC AUDIT of our DEBT REGISTER will reveal the true status of our domestic and foreign debt obligations.
For every KES 100 received by the Government as revenue, KES 70 is used to pay these loans.
KES 30 is left for government functions, and that is why so many illegal FUNDS are being set up.
Kenya is now like someone with endless FULIZA on his SIM card:
"Don't send money on this number [Consolidated Fund], it has FULIZA, send the money on my new numbers (Infrastructure, Wealth, Housing levy FUNDS)."
This is not sustainable.
This is Voodoo Economics.
This is unconstitutional.
The individuals who pocketed the Eurobond should be held accountable.
Otherwise, when the storm shall gather, there will be nowhere to hide.
Let me tell you a story about Temasek (vs the KK govt approach)
Temasek is the company that the govt of Singapore formed to run & manage state assets commercially. Today, Temasek has S$434Bn in assets with shares in these 43 global companies whose logos you might recognise.🧵1/N
This is the link to the New York times article,
Reporting that Solicitor general, Government spokesperson, William Ruto, his wife and daughter are cashing big on the middle East slave trade.
They are literally selling Kenyans as slaves. Kwisha sisi!

@the_sambu Managing crowds doesn’t mean shooting to kill. There’s no justification to use live bullets.Clearly Kenya police cannot handle large crowds of peaceful persons.why carry guns??why shoot??
