This is the only media that the whole world needs to see right now.
For those who don’t know:
This is a chilling moment captured on video when terrorists invaded a church in Kwara state of Nigeria murdering 3people, kidnapping the pastor and several church members.
Pls share!
@officialABAT You are a complete FAILURE.
You are CLUELESS
You wanted power and now you cannot do anything meaningful about the insurgency and genocide.
The bigotry continues..... Today, it is #Bokku and tomorrow it will be another. We are daily doing our best to deepen the hatred, yet the politicians are the biggest beneficiaries. #Naija#Igbo#Yoruba#Etuno#Hausa
I just want to share my story so you can understand why I’m shouting for at least a system that is making effort to be better for Nigeria.
They say “to live in Nigeria is better.” But I want to share my own story.
Because it is only a wicked person that will be enjoying a working system and not wish the same for his people.
I won’t be enjoying a functioning system abroad and then lie to you that the one you are living in Nigeria is better. 🧵

EMERGENCY!!!
Dear Gov @m_akpakomiza Minister @DaveUmahi
During our recent visit to Akoko Edo, we witnessed firsthand the terrible state of the Ibillo–Igarra–Auchi road, Akoko Edo LGA, Edo State. This critical access route, which connects hundreds of communities in Edo State to the Southwest and the FCT, has become nearly impassable. It is not just a road, it’s the only link many rely on for survival.
The situation is heartbreaking. Only motorcycles can navigate what’s left of the road. Cars and buses are stuck or forced to turn around. We met farmers unable to move their produce, students missing school, and residents cut off from healthcare and basic services. The rainy season has made the road even worse, turning it into a mud trap with no alternative route in sight.
Even more troubling is the rise in insecurity. We spoke to residents who shared their fears about the increasing cases of kidnapping along this corridor. The poor road conditions give criminals free rein, while law-abiding citizens live in fear. This is a humanitarian issue as much as it is an infrastructural failure.
These are communities that have been abandoned. No emergency access, no economic mobility, no government presence. People are frustrated, and rightly so; they are Nigerians, deserving of safe roads and functional public infrastructure. This isn’t just about convenience. It’s about dignity, security, and equal opportunity.
We are calling on the @EdoStateGovt, @DaveUmahi, and the @FMWNIG to urgently intervene.
With over ₦750 billion recently approved by the Federal Government for critical road projects across the country, this road must be on the priority list.
The people of Akoko Edo can no longer wait.
@ParasiteJournal This reminds me of Sam-wobo's admonition that I take on my MSc research further to do just this, the molecular characterization of C. parvum
