Pioneering privacy-native decentralized lending on @horizenglobal.
Shielded positions, agent-first access, and opt-in auditability for the next era of DeFi.
Everytime you open a position on a DeFi lending protocol, you're broadcasting your entire financial strategy to the world.
Your collateral. Your debt. Your exact liquidation price.
This isn't a bug. It's how public blockchains work.
And it's costing you.🧵
WEEK 4 — HORIZEN ACCELERATION SEASON
The third week of the 6-week program with @horizenglobal is done, where we're working with startups from around the world as they grow and integrate Vela, Horizen's confidential coprocessor.
We opened the week with a group mentoring session, and @CliveOnchain met 1:1 with some of the startups to learn more about their products. Midweek, Paolo Cappelletti and Sara Tontodonati from the Horizen team held office hours. On Thursday, @s_cintioli_ and @Wenlopezn ran 1:1 mentoring sessions, and today we closed the week with a GTM masterclass by Alejo Rial, Head of Business Development & Funding at Crecimiento.
A packed but amazing week!
BRAND PRODUCT FIT — MASTERCLASS
This week's Horizen Acceleration Season Masterclass was led by @waltervvega and Gabriel Comino of @thebrandsidexyz.
They presented the brand as the fifth element of growth. It sits above market, product, channel and model, and ties all four together, so everything a startup builds, sells and communicates points in the same direction.
WEEK 3 — HORIZEN ACCELERATION SEASON
The third week of the 6-week program with @horizenglobal is done, where we're working with startups from around the world as they grow and integrate Vela, Horizen's confidential coprocessor.
We opened the week with a group mentoring session, followed by office hours with @smilewithkhushi, DevRel at Horizen, who answered questions and gave feedback on last week's deliverables. On Thursday, the @22studio_io team and @matut_eth ran 1:1 mentoring sessions, and today we closed the week with a masterclass on Brand Product Fit by Walter Vega and Gabriel Comino of The Brand Side.
A packed but amazing week!
WEEK 2 — HORIZEN ACCELERATION SEASON
The second week of the 6-week program with @horizenglobal is done, where we're working with startups from around the world as they grow and integrate Vela, Horizen's confidential coprocessor.
We kicked off the week with a group mentoring session, followed by a masterclass with Paolo Cappelletti, Technical Lead at Horizen Labs. Midweek, we held office hours with @smilewithkhushi, DevRel at Horizen, to answer questions, polish details, and get ready for the first deliverable due Friday. Meanwhile, @Franacc_, @delegate_call, and @fradiquegv were available on Thursday for 1:1 mentoring.
A packed but amazing week!
Public state transparency solves solvency audits, but creates a massive structural inefficiency in DeFi lending:
When health factors and liquidation thresholds sit in a public mempool, borrowers essentially issue free options to searchers. Positions get reverse-engineered, liquidity runs get front-run, and liquidations become predatory rather than stabilizing.
Verifiable solvency does not require broadcasted exposure. Decoupling settlement from execution via zero-knowledge proofs is the natural next primitive for money markets.
The transition from fully transparent debt to shielded execution is inevitable and it’s already happening with @Noct_finance on @horizenglobal.
Coinbase Lend just crossed $500m in deposits on Base.
The credibility signal is real.
What's also real: every position behind that number fully readable for any onchain actor to read and every bot to front-run.
Horizen's private execution layer on Base exists for exactly this problem:
Hold & size your positions without broadcasting them to the whole world.
WEEK 1 — HORIZEN ACCELERATION SEASON
The first week of the 6-week program with @horizenglobal is done, where we're working with startups from around the world as they grow and integrate Vela, Horizen's confidential coprocessor.
We opened with the kickoff and group mentoring, followed by a masterclass with @smilewithkhushi, DevRel & Coordination at Horizen, and closed the week with 1:1s between every startup and the Crecimiento team.
Today we held the first 1:1 meetings with some of the founders from the @horizenglobal Acceleration Season startups.
Together with @santinomiele, we spoke with each of them to get to know them better, and what they are building is worth sharing.
- Gacha Galaxy (@GachaGalaxyHQ): onchain authentication for physical collectibles. We spoke with Matthew, who explained how 3D printed fakes are pushing dealers to verify their cards onchain.
- MetaMe: identity and access infrastructure for both humans and agents. @DeleAtanda walked us through a stablecoin pegged to the US penny, designed so agents can transact below a cent.
- NoctFinance (@Noct_finance): confidential lending built on zero knowledge proofs. @danielx2d_ showed us how a position stays private while the loan still settles onchain.
- DetentLabs (@Detentlabs): transaction security for Web3. @thatjunyu explained how their detection pipeline inspects a transaction and flags it as suspicious before the assets ever leave the wallet.
Very excited about this cohort and what’s coming up in the next few weeks. @crecimientoar

Privacy should give users more control without making applications harder to use.
Horizen Builder Ecosystem Fund is looking to support projects that are building in that direction.
Detailed breakdown👇 @horizenglobal $ZEN https://t.co/BmaUf1RT99
Public blockchains are often described as pseudonymous. Your name may not appear beside your wallet address—but that does not automatically make your financial activity private.
Over time, a public address can reveal balances, transfer history, lending positions, transaction patterns, and links to other addresses. With enough context, those fragments can form a detailed picture of someone’s financial behaviour.
Transparency is useful when a protocol needs to verify its rules.
But there is a meaningful difference between making rules verifiable and making every participant’s financial position permanently observable.
Privacy-preserving infrastructure is about designing that boundary deliberately: proving what needs to be true, while reducing unnecessary exposure of the data behind it.
Pseudonymous does not automatically mean private.
