I don't want it to spit a model with crappy textures that I will have to retopo and UV manually just to fix its texturing mistakes. I wanna keep having fun and enjoying my job.

La7, an Italian television channel has used footage from Nvidia DLSS 5 Trailer and then sent a copyright strike to every YouTube video that supposedly used “their footage”, including Nvidia themselves.

Nvidia’s own DLSS 5 announcement video has now been taken down by La7 as you can see here.

GenAi is based on stolen works of artists, produces subpar/mediocre results and focuses on the end instead in the process, limiting innovation. It saddens me that you support this tech, Mr. price.

There's a lot of visual arts' skill put into any film from a lot of professionals that put their time and effort to become creators. AI is trained with our stolen work to produce mediocrity

@XecularO @HenryEYES @kiaran_ritchie Scanning people isn't a magic wand. You won't believe the amount of work it has to be done to a scan to make something somewhat useable out of it. Photogrammetry doesn't do the work for us in the slightest. And there's still a fuckton of manual texturing (limitations? Such as?)
