There are patients with COVID who are desperately sick on the ICU @nottmhospitals & I suspect every other ICU around the country. Many are younger than me. ALMOST ALL ARE UNVACCINATED. Some will probably die. Any loss of life is a tragedy which will change the lives of those 1/n

Most patients should be walked in, only clinically appropriate patients should be kept on the trolley. De conditioning in frail patients kills and plenty of evidence of both over investigation and increased length of stay in hospital when patients are on a trolley🙏
