Day 50:
Got a chance to bring the students to the GDG meetup. It was really exciting and a first time experience for them. It is time that we make tech accessible for all . Like @HaimantikaM said communities do make a difference and this meetup was the perfect example.

@Utz_Alexander_ I am teaching in a village area. Last week a storm hit us and damaged the electricity infra here. The govt people who are in charge of fixing it are too lazy to come and fix it.

Continued teaching functions and did various exercises with the students based on it.

Taught 2d arrays and after that started teaching about functions in python.

Day 46:
Lost out the couple days due to a cyclone.Pretty much damaged the whole village infra and no electricity for the past 5 days.
Was able to resume class today and revised on the search algorithms.

Poverty , ethnic clashes, under developed education system and no proper government schemes makes them one of the most backward communities in India.

The 1996 Bodo-Santhal ethnic riots:

Then during 1996, an ethnic clash occurred between the Bodo and Santhals.The golden paddy fields of Assam turned to crimson red.

Over 2.5 lakh people were displaced in the Bodo-Santhal conflict. Hundreds others had lost their lives.
