Isabel’s PhD work investigates Karl Barth’s engagement with Ludwig Feuerbach’s theory of religion.
Her research interests beyond this project lie in the fields of Philosophy of Religion, Christian Theology, Patristics, Philosophy of Language, and Epistemology.
She has recently completed a second postdoctoral position for a Templeton-funded project, ‘Phenomenology of Theological Practice: Modelling Enquiry and Poiesis’, and continues teaching in the area of Theology and the Visual Arts for the University of Notre Dame in London.
He is the author of the poetry collection going home (Landmark, 2022) and Managing Editor of https://t.co/h02YGVRSH4. His poetry and essays have appeared in Ekstasis, Inheritance, The Yale Logos, and the Ethos Institute for Public Christianity. See https://t.co/0rIj9zHOHT.
Really excited for our last event of the term! Rowan Williams describes Chan’s work as having “a rare, vivid, sensitive, precise voice.” His poetry is remarkable, and we’re so looking forward to hearing it in discussion with Elizabeth Powell!
