Nobody EVER had a problem with female protagonists in videogames when they were cool and badass.
We started having a problem with them, when they started representing the middle aged wino cat moms from HR.
All the examples posted here are beloved.
Features that were removed from the final build of Insomniac's Wolverine:
A manual aim that allowed you to target exactly where you want to leap
Horizontal wall running
Clinging to walls permanently and sliding down them manually
Picking up and moving bodies during stealth segments
Senses and tracking being more refined
Much darker environments and tone with enemies using flashlights
An almost entirely different combat system built around the trigger buttons
And way more...
Honestly the footage points to a much more unique and interesting game than what we got
I'm enjoying Wolverine, but I think the shake ups that happened during development were unfortunately a negative for the final product
La Build Pre-Alpha de WOLVERINE, teniamos mecánicas que se terminaron descartando como el parkour, correr sobre paredes escalar todo tipo de superficie y entorno más amplios y explorables. El juego se pensó como un mundo semi abierto.

"They're not the character you know.
We're going to get there.
This is them BEFORE the character you know.
And we're going to destruct and desecrate them in every way possible. And laugh in your face."
....How many more times are folks gonna fall for that?🤨
