🗣️🗣️ Dear Nigerians,
According to the Budget Office, the 2025 proposed budget is N49.74 trillion. This budget is to be funded by a revenue of N36.35 trillion, leaving a deficit of N13.39 trillion.
Out of the N49.74tn, N16.33tn will be used for debt service, N14.85tn for capital projects, recurrent non-debt expenditure will take N14.12tn, while N4.44tn will be for statutory transfers.
📌 Where will the revenue come from?
N27.49tn will come from FG’s share of Net Federation Revenues, N3.47trn from Independent revenues, GOEs will bring in N2.87trn, others such as education tax, the share of oil price royalty and recoveries, assets, and fines will make N1.46trn.
N761.91bn will come from aid and grants, N300bn from special funds, and N7.52bn from other dividends.
