The government just gave a charity being sued for s*x trafficking a $244 MILLION no-bid contract to provide lawyers to migrant kids. Put it out Friday night with no announcement. They are keeping this quiet and for a good reason.
It's the "Sound of Freedom" charity, OUR Rescue, formerly known as Operation Underground Railroad. They have zero immigration lawyers, zero federal contracts, ever, and their lifetime federal history is one transaction...this one.
The kids' real lawyers? The government owed them $65M and refused to pay unless they handed over the children's confidential files. They refused and their contract died.
I spent 2 days following the money and it's dark: a Dubai shell company, the founder's family on the payroll, contractors listed as "anonymous individuals," and a DC company registered 13 months before the contract, with the CEO named as beneficial owner.
They knew.
