Zohran Mamdani has been mayor for 231 days and this, if manifested, and without hyperbole, will be the most radical act of his tenure by a long shot.
Please allow me to break this down:
He is about to spend 70 million tax dollars on 5 government run grocery stores (notwithstanding Aldi' making clear they could open 5 stores for a fraction of that).
Those five stores, run as they will be on tax dollars every single month no matter how full or empty their aisles will be, will be able to operate at a loss in perpetuity, and offer groceries for 30% less than their competitors.
But because no private grocer could possibly compete with a government competitor undercutting them by 30%, they will all inevitably all go bankrupt.
Mamdani's solution to prevent their bankruptcy? Give those private grocers tax dollars for them to compete and thereby make up for the 30% shortfall that...HE CREATED.
Succinctly: the government spends tax dollars to create an insanely bad problem. Then, to solve the problem that THEY CREATED, the government spends more tax dollars.
Utterly insane.
SpaceX’s first three attempts to land Falcon 9 on a droneship all ended in failure
Today, SpaceX sends a booster to space → brings it back through the atmosphere → lands it on a moving ship in the ocean → flies it again
And somehow we've gotten used to it so much we barely even react anymore
it went from blowing up rockets on droneships to making orbital-class rocket landings look completely normal
Absolutely insane engineering progress
🔥 WOW! This footage is resurfacing of Charlie Kirk MIC DROPPING communist Hasan Piker to his face
KIRK: "Why don't YOU give 95% of your money away and go live on a commune!"
PIKER: "Do you really think that's how it works?!"
KIRK: "Why not? Go live what you PREACH. I live what I preach. I am a free market capitalist. I employ people. I took a risk. I have my own startup business. Every single day, I practice what I preach."
"HE wants OTHER people to contribute to what he considers to be a good idea. What he considers will make the world a better place."
"You have the freedom to go live as a socialist. Go DO IT, Hassan! What's stopping you?"

Legendary moment from a legendary patriot.
The storm in NWI showed me one thing. The entire system is extremely fragile. Watching the fights and lines at the one open gas station and the one open burger king was something out of mad max
Dear Amazon,
The old "Bait & Switch" seemed to work out for ya, huh?
First, you "gave" us 2nd-day shipping for Amazon Prime that we paid for.
Worked great.
Then, you took away our 2nd-day shipping (but we still pay), and packages show up whenever you feel like it.
Not so great.
Now, we pay more for the prime "membership," and packages are continually being "delayed" and oftentimes smell like marijuana.
Now, we can't contact anyone from Amazon.
Thanks for treating us "members" this way.
This is not great.
We'll be taking our "membership" elsewhere.
P.S. Mr. Bezos, Hope that giant yacht is working out for ya.
This needs to be talked about more
Americans are being priced out of doing family things that were once easily affordable
This woman wants to take her family to the Museum of Science in Chicago, going to a museum was once very affordable. Now this is how pricing works:
- It’s $26 per out of state visitor, but each exhibit now costs
- $64 per person for the 3 paid exhibits they want to do as a family. They are Spider-Man, World War II submarine and coal mining
That’s $260 for a family of 4
Then you have another $40 or so for parking
That’s $300 to go to a museum…..
Doing normal life things should not be this expensive. And I looked into it, these add on experiences are definitely not worth the extra price, they should be priced much cheaper
My boomer dad asked me last week why I'm still renting at 43.
I told him a starter home in our area is $410,000.
He said "so save up."
I said the down payment alone is $82,000.
He said "that's not so bad, break it into pieces."
I said after rent, insurance, and daycare I put away maybe $400 a month.
He did the math out loud. Got to seventeen years. Went quiet.
Then he said something I didn't expect.
"I put down $3,200 on our first place. I had it saved in eight months working at the plant."
Then he just sat there for a second.
"I always thought you kids were exaggerating."
That's it. That's the whole conversation.
He wasn't being cruel. He genuinely had no idea. Nobody ever showed him the number.
Most of them aren't defending the system. They just never looked at it.

🚨 BREAKING: Univision accidentally broadcast proof that Kamala used a teleprompter at her town hall
Watch them panic when they realized they were showing the prompter live on-air
@FluentInFinance This simply doesn’t reflect real society. I’m no expert but I know that since 2021 my groceries are double. My bills are double. My mortgage was increased by $700 just in insurance in taxes alone.
Okay US inflation Falls, but never the totality of damage of the last three years.
“Yall need to go back to Ukraine and get my f*cking money back!”
“I do not pay taxes to take care of anybody else except for the American people!”
Americans are fed up 🔥🔥🔥
