My ex pastor used to claim to go 40 days or longer without food. He may have been lying, and it certainly was wildly detrimental to his health and made him miserable to be around. But I thought it was possible so I didn’t question that devout Muslims could do it too.

@MikeWingerii My ex pastor who was a serial abuser had a high regard for Bob Jones and talked about him & his prophecies all the time. He met him at a conference once and claimed that he imparted power to him when laying hands on him that made them both physically fly across the room.
