Congratulations to our #PEDDI, my dear @AlwaysRamCharan and the entire cast & crew on this incredible blockbuster! 💐💐💐
Obsession movie is ultimately a moral tale.
It reminds us that the means matter as much as the ends. Even when you have the perfect way to get what you want, bypassing freedom, consent, or uncertainty corrupts the outcome itself.
Some things lose their value the moment they are forced. #Obsession
India's chess rise is one of the great sports stories of our era, backed by Adani, celebrated by PM Modi, embraced by cricket stars and the whole culture. That's what national belief looks like. American chess has the talent to compete at that level. What we need now is that same support behind our next generation. 🇺🇸
Check out the incredible final moments of Praggnanandhaa taking down World no.1 Magnus Carlsen with the Black pieces in Round 8 of Norway Chess 2026!
With this win, Pragg becomes the first Indian (and possibly in the world) player who defeated Magnus Carlsen in Classical Chess twice in the same tournament! What a moment for Indian Chess.
AND POOJA CREATES HISTORY BY BREAKING 14 YEAR OLD NATIONAL RECORD! 🤯💥
India's Pooja Singh cleared 1.93m & won the Gold Medal for India at Asian U20 Athletics C'ship 🏅
She also breached the CWG Qualification Mark
THIS IS SO HUGE FOLKS! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
HCLTech leading Sarvam round is a rare instance of an Indian IT company leading an investment in an AI startup. It also comes at a time when IT companies are struggling to grow.
While HCLTech will invest around $150 million in Sarvam AI, Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) will put in another $50 million as part of the deal,"
“The remaining $100 million will come jointly from Nvidia, Prosperity7, Activate, Glade Brook and others, including existing backers.
Sarvam AI is backed by investors such as Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed, Peak XV Partners and others which are all expected to participate in the round, per sources
Moneycontrol had exclusively reported on March 24 Sarvam AI had begun talks to raise $250 million from HCLTech, NVIDIA, Accel and others in a fresh funding round which will be among the largest for an Indian AI startup in recent years
A few days later, Moneycontrol was also first to report on April 1 that Accel had passed and Bessemer Venture Partners was actively engaging with the company to close a funding round.
“All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.” -- Susan Sontag (from book On Photography)
Terence Tao has an IQ above 200.
Youngest gold medalist in Math Olympiad history. Fields Medal winner. The greatest living mathematician by nearly any measure.
And he just said something most people aren’t ready for.
Tao: “This whole era of AI is teaching us that our idea of what intelligence is, is not really accurate.”
We spent centuries building civilization on one assumption.
That intelligence was sacred. Irreducible. Uniquely ours.
The one thing that made the entire human story make sense.
Then AI started solving things we swore only we could.
Chess. Language. Vision. Math.
And every time, we reached for the same defense.
That’s not real intelligence. It’s just tricks. Just pattern matching. Just an algorithm.
Tao: “You look at how it’s done and it doesn’t feel like intelligence.”
So we moved the line.
Again. And again. And again.
Because intelligence was supposed to feel like something. Something deep. Something we could point to and say… this is what separates us from everything else.
But AI kept solving the problems.
And that feeling never arrived.
Tao: “We were looking for some elusive, intelligent way of thinking and we don’t see it in the tools that actually solve our goals.”
Here’s what makes it worse.
Large language models work by predicting the next word. One word at a time. No grand architecture. No deep understanding. Just probability.
And it works.
Tao: “Maybe that’s actually a lot of what humans do as well.”
The greatest living mathematician just told you human thought might run on the same machinery.
Not some transcendent spark.
Pattern recognition. Prediction. One thought, one decision, one word at a time.
We built religion around intelligence. Philosophy around it. An entire species identity around it.
And a machine running probability just held up a mirror.
We didn’t lose intelligence to AI.
We just finally saw what it always was.
What haunts us isn’t that machines learned to think.
It’s that thinking was never what we needed it to be.

Today, India takes a defining step in its civil nuclear journey, advancing the second stage of its nuclear programme.
The indigenously designed and built Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam has attained criticality.
This advanced reactor, capable of producing more fuel than it consumes, reflects the depth of our scientific capability and the strength of our engineering enterprise. It is a decisive step towards harnessing our vast thorium reserves in the third stage of the programme.
A proud moment for India. Congratulations to our scientists and engineers.
🚨 JUST IN: A migratory bird just shattered world records — flying 8,425 miles (13,560 km) NON-STOP across the Pacific without landing once.
The bar-tailed godwit doesn’t stop to eat, drink, or sleep during its migration across the Pacific Ocean. Its journey from Alaska to Australia takes roughly 11 days of continuous flight, covering over 13,000 kilometers through storms, headwinds, and open ocean with zero land beneath it the entire time.
Before departure, it does something almost surgical to its own body. It shrinks its digestive organs down to almost nothing, converting the stomach, intestines, and liver into raw fuel. The bird essentially eats its own gut to make room for fat reserves that will power its wings for nearly two weeks straight.
The brain doesn’t fully sleep either. Half of it stays active while the other half rests, alternating in shifts mid-flight at altitude over the open Pacific. The godwit is simultaneously unconscious and navigating with magnetic field sensitivity that no human instrument in the 18th century could replicate.
What makes this genuinely staggering beyond the physical record is the navigational precision involved. The bird leaves Alaska and arrives in New Zealand with accuracy that would embarrass early GPS systems. It reads Earth’s magnetic field, atmospheric pressure gradients, star positions, and potentially quantum-level compass mechanisms inside its eye that literally let it see magnetic field lines overlaid on its visual field.
Evolution spent millions of years building an aerospace navigation system inside a 300 gram animal.
We spend billions engineering machines that do what this bird does on instinct, fat reserves, and half a sleeping brain.
The longest recorded non-stop flight by a commercial aircraft is around 20 hours.
This bird does 11 days.
Without a runway.
