Celebrating 38 Years of the Amiga Demo Creator Spirit 🎉

In May 1987 we dropped the Supremacy Demo Creator for the #Amiga!

Born from a two-week 68000 Assembly sprint and shipped on floppy disks via snail mail, it powered first intros for at least 17 Amiga groups (including Fairlight & Triad).

Back then resources were scarce: No home internet. No Stack Overflow. No AI-powered “vibe coding”, just an Amiga, handcrafted Assembly, and a intricate choreography of bits & bytes. But it was a joyous time, collaborating with friends, being creative, solving challenges and uncovering clever tricks.

Not only did the M7.8 Philippines Earthquake occur when >10 MeV proton flux was elevated above baseline from a solar flare <24 hours earlier, it also occurred after a G2 geomagnetic storm and importantly when Earth was being swept by a low-density high-speed-stream of solar wind. This is a specific solar wind structure well-correlated with high-magnitude (M7.0+) earthquakes. Elevated proton flux is also a strongly correlated factor for big quakes.
