@Tenouttatenma Yeah, they brought real deer to disney in the offices so the animators could study them in person for bambi. Insane scene and they did it right
The reason why you don’t see this kind of animation often is because it requires an extreme love for life and the way living creatures move. And that kind of devotion demands time, discipline, and excessive observation.
Three-year-old Maryam Ahmed Ghanem watched her mother burn to death while flames surrounded her. At around 4am on Wednesday, an Israeli occupation airstrike hit their apartment in Gaza City and set it on fire while the family slept. Journalist Ali Al-Jaafarawi heard her screaming, fought his way through the smoke on his third attempt and carried her out. Her mother, Reem, was 33 and did not survive. Maryam’s father was killed at the start of the genocide, and her grandmother is now all she has left. She is lying in Al-Shifa Hospital with second-degree burns and smoke in her lungs. This happened a year into a ceasefire. Remember her name.

i don’t know if everyone feels this way, but seeing trees being cut down hurts my soul deeply in a way i can’t explain. something about it feels insanely wrong
The level of income and wealth inequality in the U.S. is beyond insane.
The top 0.00001% (just 20 households) now owns over $4 trillion — more than 12 times the wealth of the bottom 50% COMBINED.
We must defeat oligarchy. Billionaire wealth tax NOW.
@danpjsheehan@mehdirhasan Anyway, it’s the wrong question. It’s not who will take them, but rather why are they being expelled and how will it be stopped
I was recently reminded of this astonishing but little known film by Peter Jackson. His 2018 WW1 documentary using original footage from the war itself. Required viewing in my opinion. You’ll be glad you did: https://t.co/mSd6QuuozL
