Slave of the Lord Jesus Christ. Defender of Machodor, Bearer of the Fabled Ice Jewel of Frigia, and scourge against evil always and everywhere it is found.
@Bdubs1776 "Da humie douches fought dey could git one over on us wivout payin' for it. Dey all fink Kronan is stupid. Let 'em keep finking dat. We'll get plenty morr of 'em to eat and make merry before dey catch on." - Kronan da Kunnin' after hearing the report of Red Keggar + Assassination
I printed three more #Trollopulous characters and found something to use with them. I've had these Dungeon Works magnetic tiles in a box--probably since the 90's--and I know I've never used them before. Now is the time.
Never heard of any biological evidence of the "born that way philosophy," anybody know what this guy is on about with stress hormones in-utero having such an effect? Wonder why all the presumably stressful pregnancies that lead to this also end up abused or traumatized as kids.
@Igwilly252532@Gingerblast Creating a calendar and running one to one Jeffrogaxian timekeeping has completely changed the game for me, whether in person or online. Harmony's suggestions about using a discord with private channels helps keep things organized.
Even those who oppose @Bdubs1776 should thank him. He is, without irony, magnanimous to the point of madness. He has more love for his foes than I could hope to muster.
Some gems from UMBROS:
Me running a Call of Cthulhu game:
Keeper: "You enter the hotel room. Looks like they left in a hurry."
Players "We search the room."
Keeper: “you find a page torn from a calendar - Friday 13th is circled. Also there is a used bus ticket from Long Island.”
Players: “we empty the trash cans.”
Keeper: “there is nothing more to find here.”
Players: “we toss the couch cushions.”
Keeper: “There Is Nothing More To Find Here.”
Players: “we sniff the fried chicken containers.”
Keeper “THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO FIND HERE.”
Players: “We peel off the wallpaper.”
Keeper: <bangs head on table>
Players are the best.
The Bros again GIVE AWAY the sort of thing that commercial publishers charge a premium for, and do it better. By hobbyists, for hobbyists, in the spirit of the hobby.
I wrote an optional missing person mystery inspired by twin peaks that I dropped to a level 1 party
They surprised me by latching onto it and traveling to 3 cities to rescue her. It took them 4 months
Now to reward them with more work!
Full quest/mystery explained below

You know...I just had a fun idea.
The Dungeon Masters Guide says that 1 in 4 swords have special abilities...what if that's something outside anyone's control? What if intelligent items aren't made, just that in the universe, there's a chance that it just happens. Like, okay we want to make Bob a longsword +1. Couple weeks go by, it's done...and now just like a found item, the Dungeon Master rolls that percent chance to see...!
Actually I quite like that idea.
Machodor Daily, Breaking News. Reports coming in that "scarecrows" posted at the entrances to the Master of Winter's valley are actually the bodies of recently recaptured thralls. Does his evil have no bounds!
#Trollopulous
*DM describes the ambush and slaughter of a player character's forces and mind-controlled prisoners we had recently rescued.*
"...the upshot is everybody was killed by the dragon breath except for the cavalry, and some of those died too."
Just another day in #Trollopulous
