"We have decided not to submit for this year's Grammys.
Rather than music being categorized by region or language, we hope music itself can be heard and loved for what it is.
We sincerely thank ARMY and everyone who is always with us"
@aakashgupta You mean he was sold into the industry, and controlled under years of abuse, torture, and trauma…. When he was just a baby. No one wants to touch this topic. You need to understand this, to understand his healing and come back.
@aakashgupta Can we PLEASE stop making it sound like he did this ENTIRE set JUST scrolling on his MacBook? He only did the YouTube stuff for like 5-10 minutes. The rest of his set was all newer songs with guest appearances too 😅
A 13-year-old Canadian kid uploaded R&B covers to YouTube in 2008 from his bedroom. A talent manager named Scooter Braun stumbled on the videos and signed him.
For the next 15 years, Braun controlled everything. Tours, branding, business deals, public image. The kid became the biggest pop star on the planet, sold 150 million records, racked up 32 billion Spotify streams, and had three Diamond-certified singles before turning 25.
Then in 2022, he got hit with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. Partial facial paralysis. Cancelled the world tour. Disappeared from public life entirely.
Here's where it gets interesting.
In January 2023, he sold his entire 290-song catalog to Hipgnosis for $200 million. Every song he'd ever released. "Baby." "Sorry." "Love Yourself." All of it. Gone. At 28 years old, he cashed out his past.
Then he dropped Scooter Braun. After 15 years. No manager. No agent. For the first time in his career, nobody was making decisions for him.
Fast forward to this weekend. Coachella calls. He picks up the phone himself. Rolling Stone confirmed he negotiated his own headlining deal directly with Goldenvoice. No agent commission. No manager cut. $10 million for two weekends, and he kept all of it.
Then he walked onto the biggest stage in music, sat down behind a MacBook, and pulled up YouTube.
He played "Baby" from 2010. He played his bedroom covers from 2008. He harmonized with his 13-year-old self in front of 100,000 people. Katy Perry joked about whether he had YouTube Premium.
Half the internet called it lazy. The other half called it genius.
They're both wrong. It was a receipt.
He sold his catalog for $200 million. He fired the man who discovered him. He negotiated his own deal. And then he went back to the exact platform where it all started and said: I built this from a laptop. I'm headlining Coachella from a laptop. And for the first time in my life, every dollar is mine.
The kid from YouTube just closed the loop.
That's why prophet ﷺ disliked unnecessary staying up late after 'Isha prayer or sleeping before it without reason:
"Allah's Messenger ﷺ disliked to sleep before the 'Isha' prayer and to talk after it."
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
Someone said that
"the regret you feel at the end of Ramadan for not making the most out of it might be a reflection of the regret you will feel in your grave when you realise you could've done more in your life."
It reminds us of the ayah that goes
"My Lord send me back"
Perempuan yang telah baligh dan mempunyai pendapatan sendiri wajib membayar zakat fitrah untuk dirinya sendiri. Jika bapanya ingin membayar bagi pihaknya, hendaklah dengan izin atau persetujuannya dulu.
What would happen if you stopped eating sugar for two weeks?
1. Slimmer face and midsection
Quitting sugar releases liver fat, slimming your midsection as your body adapts to running on fat fuel.
2. Improvements in your eyes, brain, arteries, and kidneys
Sugar affects these four organs more than others. After quitting sugar, you’ll notice better vision and better kidney function. A sugar-free diet decreases inflammation in the arteries, improving cholesterol values. You’ll also experience enhanced neural function, which results in better cognitive function, memory, focus, concentration, and improved mood.
3. Decreased urination at night
Consuming sugar triggers urination, especially at night.
4. More energy
When you eliminate dietary sugar, your body is forced to run on fat for fuel. Your body has far more calories from stored fat, giving you more energy.
5. Reduced cravings
When you quit sugar, your body is satisfied by your fat reserves between meals, eliminating cravings. This takes around 3 days, and you must reduce your carb intake to 50 grams or less.
6. Decreased stiffness, pain, and inflammation
When you quit sugar, you may experience decreased arterial stiffness, which can improve blood pressure. Inflammation decreases in the tissues, and you may reduce or eliminate your need for certain medications.
7. Weight loss
You will lose fat and water weight quickly after quitting sugar.
8. Better skin
When you quit sugar, you decrease inflammation, which improves your skin.
9. Improves insulin resistance
Insulin resistance is at the heart of many health conditions. When you eliminate dietary sugar, you can start to improve insulin resistance.
One time I asked a guy, “So what are we?”
He sighed like I was asking for land title.
He said, “Why do you need labels? Let’s just vibe.”
VIBE?
Meanwhile this man was calling me every night, sleeping over, eating my food, using my WiFi, borrowing my charger like we were already married.
So I said, “Okay. No labels.”
Then I started acting single.
I stopped replying fast.
Stopped explaining where I was.
Stopped giving him girlfriend privileges.
A week later he called me angry.
He said, “I don’t like how you’re moving.”
I said, “Why? We’re vibing.”
He said, “You’re acting like you’re not mine.”
I said, “I’m not. You said no labels.”
He went silent.
Then he said, “You know what I meant.”
And I said, “No. You know what I meant. You just wanted access without responsibility.”
That day I realized…
Men who hate labels love benefits.
Slowly you fixed your prayers.
Slowly Mondays and Thursdays became part of your routine.
Slowly Tahajjud and Dhuha found you.
Slowly you guarded your tongue and your heart.
And slowly Allah fixed what you could never fix yourself.
Kun fa ya kun.
Did you notice a trend?
Gen Z and the younger generation are avoiding alcohol.
I passed by a club recently. Mostly millennials and older people. Hardly any teens. The alcohol trend is fading.
Instead, teenagers are more interested in trying and talking about
coffee, matcha, new beverages, energy drinks, protein, health supplements, hydration drinks.
This generation is more aware of what they consume.
They know what they’re doing.
Great signs.
Many people misunderstand the verse in Surah An-Nur (24:26):
“Good women are for good men, and good men are for good women.”
They assume this verse guarantees that a righteous person will always be married to a righteous spouse. But this is not what the verse means.
Scholars explain that this ayah was revealed in the context of purity, innocence, and false accusations, not marriage compatibility. It speaks about character and truth, not who you will marry.
If this verse were about marriage, then some undeniable realities would not exist.
Prophet Nuh (عليه السلام) had a wife who disbelieved.
Prophet Lut (عليه السلام) had a wife who betrayed him.
And the worst tyrant in history, Fir‘oun, was married to Asiyah (رضي الله عنها) one of the greatest women ever created.
These examples alone prove that righteousness is not guaranteed through marriage.
So how did a woman as pure as Asiyah end up married to Fir‘oun?
Because this dunya is not Jannah.
This world is a test, and Allah sometimes places His most beloved servants in the most painful situations not to punish them, but to raise them.
Asiyah was not honored because of her marriage. She was honored despite it.
Her imaan was so unshakable that even living under the roof of the most oppressive man to ever exist could not weaken her faith. Instead, her patience elevated her to one of the highest ranks, as mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari (3436).
Her du‘a is preserved forever in the Qur’an:
“My Lord, build for me a house near You in Paradise.” — (Surah At-Tahrim 66:11)
She didn’t ask for a house in Jannah first. She asked for a house near Allah.
That is the level of closeness she attained.
So the truth is simple:
Fir‘oun was not a blessing for Asiyah. He was the test that raised her above millions.
And through her story, Allah teaches us something profound:
Your spouse does not define your worth.
Your rank is not decided by who you marry.
Your destination is not tied to another human being.
Your imaan does.
Your sabr does.
Your du‘a does.
And Allah’s true pairing is not promised in this world, It is promised in the Hereafter.
Let me explain what this means so that you understand better.

Sometimes tiny cells in our stomach get very stubborn and turn into bad guys called cancer. They grow way too fast and don't listen to the body's rules.
.
But you see, these smart scientists in Korea didn't want to fight them with big scary bombs and bazookas like old medicines do. Instead they sat the cells on a wooden bench and said "Look here you stubborn cells, why don't you just remember who you really are and be good again?
.
So they made a pretend computer twin of our belly cells. Just like a magic video game version. (something like that sha) so they played around in the game to find the three bossy switches that were making the cells stay stubborn.
.
.
Those three bossy switches have funny names. They are MYB, HDAC2, and FOXA2.
Fantastic 3 lool
.
The scientists turned those three mean switches Off. Poof.
And just like that guess what? The stubborn cancer cells were like "Ohhh… I remember now!
.
Then they calmed down, grew up properly, and turned back into nice, normal belly helper cells. No more bad growing.
They then tried this in Mice, and the poor mice got better. The bad lumps got smaller because the cells stopped being the bullies they were.
It's like telling your barking Dog at home to shusss and calm down. And it actually calms down.
.
.
This isn't ready for humans yet, as it's still developing. But it's going to help out someday. And well, a lot of people are gonna be wayyyy happier.
.
.
.
Kudos to the scientists once again and I'm super happy about this development and the positive impact it's going to have on affected people 💪🏾💪🏾
