If I’m paying for a chauffeur, ok, but you have to be on call 24/7. I expect the car to be clean and detailed when you take me places. You have to drive everywhere. You have to be taking me to work in the morning, while I sleep in the back. You have to pick me up from work. You have to take me to the bar, or to my friend’s house and wait for me.
Oh, a maid, sure. But I’m never cleaning a thing again, the house better be spotless at all times. I can be as much of a slob as I want, not my problem, I have a maid to do that, right? Everything better be prepared for me at all times and ready to go.
Chef, great. I will order what I want for breakfast (I’d like an egg white omelette with mushrooms, and spinach), before you lay out my cloths for work (maid duty), and before you drive me to work (chauffeur). When you get back you can clean up the kitchen and my dishes. BTW, I expect you to deliver me my lunch, which I would like a nice chicken breast on rice pilaf and a side of coleslaw (freshly made).
It’s fundamentally stupid; the whole concept. They add up full time jobs and say they are doing them all, all at the same time.
Sorry this whole concept is just fundamentally flawed. You’re not an employee, you’re a partner. Everything needs to be shared.
