Unity will soon charge devs per-install after a certain threshold. I'd like to express my concerns regarding privacy (tracking installs/downloads), preservation and changing the whole business model while devs are using the engine for their projects. 🫤

Now that #PAXAUS is over: I may have to sleep for a week. PAX rising had a pretty good selection this year with standouts like "Schrodinger's cat burglar", and "Kendan and the Gem of Eru" which is being made for the actual original Gameboy!
It's been great seeing the response to @lostlillygame at #PAXAUS. If you haven't seen it yet you've only got an hour to find booth 1240 and give it a try.
I don’t understand the logic of Charles Martinet’s Mario not being able to carry a movie when we live in a world that has listened to Mickey Mouse in longer intervals and in multiple mediums.
Fun discovery on the pax floor that people are using a controller on @lostlillygame. A feature with known bugs that we didn't prioritize fixing because we (programmers) were told that the booth would be using the keyboard.
YASSSSS! I’m coming for ya #PAXAus 2022! Join me and the rest of the gaming community 7-9 Oct in Melbourne for Australia’s Biggest Gaming Festival. Click here more info - https://t.co/zcoaXhDecn #PAXandWin
Gotta love finishing the game build the late on the day it needs to be emailed to the teacher. Followed an hour uploading it. Slow internet is fun for the whole family.
The last few days of preparing A game for display at PAX Australia have been pretty rewarding; However, I'm getting really sick of unity scenes. Why must they always be at the center of merge conflicts?
@Tres_Villain@willgoldstone I didnt find a 'driver' based solution, however bone offset method as described in this video sounds promising: https://t.co/mJWlDLlAFx
@Tres_Villain@willgoldstone It seems like there should be a way to do that using only position and not scale. I'll have a play with blender a bit later. I think a simple driver should do the trick.
@Tres_Villain@willgoldstone For the time being that seems to be the only option. Although I can't actually spot what you're using scaling for here: is it just to extend the arms?
