The Director General of NITDA, @KashifuInuwa, engaged hub managers at the iHatch Upskilling Programme, organised by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in collaboration with NITDA, to drive innovation across 36 states of the Federation and the FCT, in order to realise President @officialABAT's vision of economic reform, job creation and digital inclusion.

Inuwa reiterated that there is need for collaboration, networking, and ecosystem building, urging hub managers to support startups with skills, funding access, commercialisation strategies, and the expansion of iHatch with a goal to train 185 startups, create 774 direct jobs and over 7,400 indirect jobs.

He said plans are underway to convert CBT centers into innovation hubs to foster sustainable growth, and hub managers are now expected to champion the Nigeria Startup Act, connect startups to global opportunities, and drive digital transformation nationwide.
