The SAVE America Act bolsters every U.S. citizens’ right to vote and holds the rest of the country to the same high standards as Idaho. Idaho Young Republicans Oppose Pro-Abortion Ballot Initiative

Boise, Idaho – The Idaho Young Republicans announced their strong opposition to the Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act Initiative appearing on the November 2026 ballot.

This measure is a pro-abortion proposal that would legalize abortion on demand up to fetal viability and expand access under broad exceptions, rolling back Idaho’s current protections for unborn life. Cloaked in misleading “freedom” and “privacy” language, the initiative prioritizes ideology over the lives of innocent babies and weakens safeguards for women and families.

As young conservatives, the Idaho Young Republicans believe in building a future that protects the most vulnerable. True freedom does not come at the expense of innocent life. The group urges all Idahoans to reject this radical expansion of abortion and stand strong for life, family, and responsibility.

The Idaho Young Republicans encourage voters to cast a NO vote on the Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act this November.
