📢 We’re pleased to support @PrestonCouncil’s mission as a Living Wage City.
With 35 accredited employers already uplifting over 4,200 workers, the goal is to double that impact and a new grant scheme is helping local SMEs get accredited.

I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.
Long Lane U23’s are looking for a few more players to add to a good squad already.

The Greenham Common women caused damage and disruption. Some were arrested.
They were not terrorists. They were peaceful protestors and they were right.
Same for anti-apartheid activists, who supported the ANC (called terrorists by the government).

@SteveReedMP Can you also bring marine rights back into public hands or a protective trust?
I gather Cameron gave them back to the royal family.

Bottom trawling is damaging our precious marine wildlife and habitats.
Without urgent action, our oceans will be irreversibly destroyed.
Labour is taking decisive action to ban bottom trawling to preserve sea life for generations to come.

@Offcom Currently watching BBC morning interviewer John aggressive in questioning Ed Milliband defending adjs made by the gov in favour of the public.
We didn't see this when Torys were law breaking & Mone was carpet bagging. Earlier... birth rates drop due to cost of living
My point about the birth rates is that the economy is currently feeding money to the property owners & pricing young people out of home ownership. Older people are cashing in assets to survive.
This economy NEEDS some serious adjustments in favour of the general public.
His aggressive questioning is a misuse of his influence. We need politicians to react to the public needs and he should have represented public rections which were far more positive.
Whose interests are he serving?
Please can we have less biased interviewing. The government has acted the way the public wanted & we are left with a better system that is means tested for the top 25%, the economy is not static & changes have to oscillate & adapt.
