Trucks encountering the detour on the north end of Damon Road will be redirected south on Route 5 to exit 23.
Access to Industrial Drive will remain open via Damon Road from King Street. It is advised that trucks follow the detour in order to avoid the train bridge.
MassDOT is implementing a detour for trucks traveling on Damon Road beginning on Tuesday, July 6, and will remain in place until further notice.
Trucks traveling to Damon Road via I-91 northbound will be redirected to exit 23 (old exit 18) then north on Route 5 ending at King St.
Today several NPD Officers traveled to Worcester to Honor fallen Worcester Police Officer Emanuel "Manny" Familia. Thousands of Officers from across the region came together to pay their final respects and honor this true hero. May he rest in peace.

The DPW installed barricades to allow for a new outside dining area on Strong Ave. This new area stretches the entire width of the street on Strong Ave at Main St to the Strong Ave public parking lot by Eastside Grill. Vehicle traffic from Main to Pleasant St will not be passable
A short time ago a tractor trailer accidently struck some low hanging wires on Brookside Cir at Rural Ln. That portion of the roadway will remain closed until National Grid can repair the pole and lines.
Starting tomorrow morning there will be temporary daytime lane closures on Route 9 and Damon Rd from 7am until 3:30pm as they put the final coat of pavement down on the roundabout project. The paving project is anticipated to last three days (May 11th, 12th, 13th).

Please be aware that they are milling the roadway around the area of the Coolidge Bridge roundabout today in preparation for the final coat of pavement.

Police Departments all over New England have been experiencing thefts of catalytic converters. Last night Officers observed an occupied vehicle in the Honda Lot. Investigation reveled that there were several catalytic converters in the back seat.

The final phase of construction for the roundabout on Bridge St at the Coolidge Bridge has begun. Over the next few months please plan accordingly as there might be slight traffic delays.
