@KirstyWildNZ Typically kids in primary school will need an older rider to go with ( rec age for kids riding on the road solo is 10 years old). There are national education programs through BikeReady from Waka Kotahi, but ultimately kids will need addition support in more trafficked areas.

Wtf Justine Smith having a go at cyclists last night on 7 Days!! FYI we are not all fuckwits with clippy cloppy shoes, wearing a number. Some of us are mums and dads, going to work/school, dropping our kids at kindy, which we expect to be able to do safely. Very disappointing!
