@AustinKayar@PoliceThePolic1 Not saying it's the correct or rational response, but if a cop comes at you emotionally charged, it's hard to not feel like you have to fight back. Your irrational monkey brain will take over fast.
@AustinKayar@PoliceThePolic1 Because if a cop is flying off the handle over stupid shit like this, your natural instinct is fight, flight, freeze. If a cop immediately goes from 0 to 100, your natural threat response is going to go haywire. You don't know what the cop will do, fighting is a survival response
@StormCoker Honestly, the small towns just need to cash in.
Simla, Colorado has a speed camera. Set these bad boys up outside of small towns, rake in the fees from speeding chasers. Profit.
@JoelDreessen It has nothing to do with being conservative. Everything to do with the fact that they're on the outskirts of the city. The proximity of living near a big city and its services, without being totally consumed by it.
They're also wildly unaffordable...
@theblockspot@mollyanne326 Agreed, nothing is worse than a lopsided final. If the best team is always playing the lower seeds and blowing them out, not really worth watching past the first few rounds.
@hankmardukas80@Jhud8739@Real_Ames I mean, I know no one here is defending the woman, but I feel like we shouldn't imply she gets sympathy for being a butthole.
You make a scene, your consequence is being filmed. You make it a worse scene, your consequence is going viral.
But agreed, not everyone needs to film.
@iceman_fl@OccupyDemocrats It's being taken into context. Though I'm sure that when other presidents had statues of them put up, people thought the same thing "Dictator!"
In fairness.
But truly, in the context of his behavior, it's pretty easy to scrutinize this golden statue.
@NickProbes@FoxNews I'm watching people turn this into a "Gotchya" for either political party.
I'm over here just tired of their bullshit. Wars, assassination attempts, high fuel costs, natural disasters leveraged against the opposing party.
Democrats and Republicans just both stuck.
@nllv_comm@fishiibtw@JoeLowson@SecDuffy@FAANews I dislike DEI as much as the next guy, but using it as an easy answer to a complicated staffing problem is just as bad as using DEI to solve... A complicated staffing problem.
Not everything is DEI. You're cheapening the real issues by exaggerating another one for an easy answer.
@AllDeezAliens@akafaceUS Being clean shouldn't be the only benchmark of a good establishment. That should be a given.
That's the minimum, which most big chains are decently good about. lol They just have some good marketing. They've convinced people to wear their merch and be free billboards. ha
@KalebTheSocrat If you look at the coma evident in the photo, the aperture is WIDE open. Meaning, they're letting in a shit ton of light. If they crank the ISO and process it a bit, they don't need a slow shutter speed. There would be minimal streaking.
@KalebTheSocrat Kaleb, my friend. Do you not know that the stars are thousands of light years away? The craft is stable.
There is no atmosphere, the magnitude of the stars is significantly brighter. You can get this at f/1.4, 6400 ISO, 1/60th shutter on earth with minimal light pollution.
@DrippaJoe@BodycamVideos_ They were just going to get a citation but since they weren't identifying themselves, it could be considered a more serious crime at that point. He wasn't being arrested for drinking underage, just fined for drinking underage and having an open container in public.
