@libertyhq From the article linked by Liberty. I’d love to hear/see how they’d disarm someone carrying this using wit, charm & a tin of hairspray. WTF?
I’m listening to a caller on a programme criticising the police for not caring about stab victims, and of course I know that’s not true.
This is what police officers are doing for stab victims almost every single day.
@North_Lites@PatrickChristys@Teresa19618773 When did you get your FRCPath? Just so we can compare your qualifications with those of the forensic pathologist who actually conducted the post mortem?
@LuvAgent99@danielweberdlc@ESpeaksFreely Handcufffing someone after they’ve been arrested is not “rare”. It’s not done on every occasion, and it’s a use of force that has to be proportionate and justifiable, but it’s certainly not rare.
@Zokko18 It actually was the case for a nearly 3 year period (until 2017) that officers under investigation were prevented from resigning/retiring until the conclusion of the investigation.
@hackedbracket@financefraz@WorldCup26HQ Tips are for good (ie over & above service). Not to subsidise owners whose business model is too crappy to pay their staff properly. Happy to help.
As @SamCoatesSky was telling me last night, if the standards commissioner investigates and finds it should have been delayed, there’s the risk of a recall petition and a by-election in Clacton. He’s very, very worried and defensive.
Just one of the candidates our city have blindly elected by the way.
After hearing by most in the summer how this was a city on the up too. I feel sick man.
There was an incident near me a few years ago , The guy was tasered 6 times he flinched once when one hit him in his knackers. Six blasts later he was still on his feet still waving an axe around .Lets not think Taser is the be all and end all
@Euro_toff@BarryTizer@BethRigby@ZackPolanski Thank you for your thoughts on what the officers shouldn’t have done.
Now please share with us what you think they *should* have done?
