Through the years, Trillanes and his Magdalo comrades fought a lonely but resolute war—not of arms this time, but of truth against propaganda, accountability against impunity. While many politicians either fell silent or bent the knee, they pressed on with unyielding discipline, even as they were ridiculed, red-tagged, and threatened. Yet today, as the Duterte mythos begins to unravel and public eyes open to the decay that was hidden in plain sight, history is beginning to vindicate their cause. The narrative once labeled as conspiracy is now seen as prophecy.

The people are awakening to the truth Trillanes had shouted in the wilderness: that Bong Go is not the innocent bystander he portrayed himself to be, but a key architect in Duterte’s architecture of corruption. And for this relentless pursuit—fueled not by ambition but by patriotism—the nation must give Trillanes and Magdalo their due, for they carried the torch when others feared to lift it.
