@WildWesson We may have bad blood between us but I hope things are working out for you. I heard about what happened to your brother and I'm sorry you went through that. Hope you're still going strong with streaming.
@MGS3Lover I usually hate motion blur because a lot of games I've played with it just has an on/off switch and it looks like shit. But I played a game recently that let you control the level of motion blur on a slider or just turn it off and I found it really nice. Trepang2, give it a shot.
I can't fit everything here. Wait for the MGE. But this has easily entered my top favorite FPS games right up there with Turbo Overkill and Dusk. Love was poured into Trepang2 and there wasn't a single complaint to be had. It did everything, and I mean everything, right. Kudos.
Beat two games so far this year, starting with recs from a friend of mine. Prison City was a great action platformer. A bit of Mega Man, Metal Gear, and something else I can't remember all mixed together. Fun boss fights, great compact level design, good map system.
@kabrutusdeid Don't quote me on this, but I remember reading that the first game is the only one related to canon events from the source material and everything past the first game is them trying to make up more story. I could be wrong. Sorry if I am. I still need to play 2, but 1 is fantastic
@7Negative_Creep Damn, that's a shame. I loved doing this when I played RE4 on the Gamecube. It's one reason I got so addicted to Stalker and Stalker modding actually, the addition of weight management felt great. Some may think it's tedious, but it's the simple things.
@gu41803921 I'm willing to believe KJH specifically did what he did to get people making more art of his vtuber model. And I respect the love of the game. Stellar art by the way.
@ObsoleteSony I still have my PSP 2k that I bought and modded well after the Vita stopped being produced. I take really good care of it and it still works like a charm for playing tons of old games on top of the PSP titles. Great little handheld. I actually prefer it over Nintendo handhelds.
@Nick930Gaming I would also like to add that if anything desperately needs a remake, it's Code Veronica. Having played that game a long time ago, it was really jank and could definitely use some touch ups.
@Nick930Gaming I disagree. The original remake is fine. Modernizing it feels wrong to me. I thought RE4 didn't need to be remade either. I think by a certain point games need to stop being remade in a series, and I think 3 was the stopping point Resident Evil should have had.
Been a while since I posted. I've sadly become addicted to a game that I gotta tear myself away from, but better late than never, here's My Gaming Experience for 2025 while I try to actually finish more games in 2026: https://t.co/Wf8wpUfGzE
Gnosia is probably the closest thing I'm getting to what I wanted from Distrust, the original Danganronpa concept. It's a really fun game, especially once you get the wheels spinning by enhancing your skill levels so you can last longer without being fridged. Worth your time.
Been wanting to go through the Resident Evil games for a while, and for October I beat the RE1 remake on PC and the Gamecube version of 2 with an HD texture pack that made things look magnificent. Both were great experiences. They didn't have to give the Tyrant such a fat ass.
I wanted a more recent game for October and a friend highly recommended Crow Country to me. And I could tell why. Great homage to Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and other such stuff. Played normal and never really felt like I ran out of resources, so you might find hard alright.
Lost in Vivo was a game on my list for a few years now. I might've overhyped it in my head. It was still a solid game, but the combat was pretty jank. Good thing that wasn't a big focus of the game then. It was a good game for October though.
I played Control a few years ago but never beat it. So I took the plunge recently, and beat Alan Wake and then Control. Alan Wake was enjoyable, but Control ended up being a really fun game because I love conspiracy and SCP type stuff. Both were pretty solid games. Fuck Tim.
After beating Zero Ranger I gave Void Stranger a crack and it's really interesting how they did it. Apparently the pair that made the first game switched their roles for the second to get a feel for the other's part in developing. It was a fantastic puzzle game, great plot.
