Republicans are stepping up the attacks on Special Council #RobertMueller, hoping to discredit the former FBI director and his investigation of Trump and his associates. How much do you know about Mr. Mueller? #RussianCollusion
.@SenatorCollins: Fool? Tool? I vote both.
Shameful to blame coverage of your smash & grab looting of the federal treasury as driven sexist newsrooms. https://t.co/Fd9XOibtE4
What I really don't understand here is Susan Collins. She came out of health care a hero. Now she is, rightly, seen as a fool, a tool, or both. And she can never get it back. What could possibly justify that choice?
@PressSec “I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant… I want to make sure everything is good... "Is everyone OK?", you know they're standing there with no clothes… and you see these incredible-looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that”-Donald Trump
“[T]he citizen’s safety lies in the prosecutor . . . who serves the law and not factional purposes” Robert H. Jackson (former Attorney General, Supreme Court Justice, chief Nuremberg prosecutor)
Executive privilege does not apply until you are the executive; these documents are from the transition, before Trump became the executive; QED no executive privilege. Grasping at straws here. https://t.co/7jeRSzzUQZ
Funny how the letter claims they are private, not govt documents, but then claims they were protected by executive & deliberative process privilege, which only apply in government. 🤔 https://t.co/Vw8Bk2H555
Alabama voters deserve to have their voices heard in the tax plan fight. Doug Jones should be seated in the U.S. Senate before we vote on the new bill. https://t.co/jJzU9Wp8Kw
Courts generally unwilling to find reasonable right to privacy for .gov emails. Also, since Trump lawyers don't know what leads Mueller is investigating, they won't know which emails may be important. This seems like another desperate attempt to smear the Mueller investigation. https://t.co/Z8o64Q6q6E
Of course Mueller obtained emails from a third party. Prosecutors in most white collar criminal investigations do that. It’s not “inappropriate” or even unusual. Anyone who claims otherwise has no idea what they’re talking about. https://t.co/1JKNobvKJd
@nytimes really, just because someone says something false does not mean you should report it without context.
@marcorubio is a tool of the ultra-rich, Russian oligarchs, and smarter memebers of the GOP. https://t.co/H4SpyLOMa0
The New York Times should be ashamed of itself for describing Marco Rubio this way: "A longtime champion of the working class..." This is a total crock. No Republican gives a rat's ass about the working class. Their tax bill proves they only care about the ultra-wealthy.
DOJ now says early release of FBI agents' private texts to reporters was 'not authorized' by the department
This means someone broke the law for Trump’s benefit in leaking FBI texts to reporters. RT if u agree we need to prosecute them. #ProtectMueller
