I wrote this tweet in an emotional pit of sadness for the lives lost in the riots. I support the movement/peaceful protests. I’m not fan of the excess violence. I believe there are good people out protesting, but I’m angry at those who use this as an opportunity to commit crimes

@Jay_Tona @RadChuchi To me it’s not factual becuase it’s tough to say that the peaceful protests haven’t worked. Maybe they haven’t worked as much as we’ve liked or maybe not fast enough, or in my mind not enough people have stood in protest or spoken up

I get how it can be seen as a fact tho

Yes I’m going off some ideology, but to assume my opinion is based off of “lack of knowledge on the entire subject” is a stretch

We shouldn’t have to protest I agree. Yes I do think we should act rationally especially since our oppressors don’t. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind

@Jay_Tona @RadChuchi I agree it’s very sad, but I don’t think two wrongs will make things right. I think hate breeds more hate. Meaning our actions will only breed more hate from racists

Maybe I’m wrong, honestly I hope I am for our sakes

If you’re right, I hope the chaos that has happened works the way you want it to, and I hope for max change and minimal destruction haha

My point of view is that I’m saddened to see the aftermath of the riots. Communities are destroyed and innocent lives are lost

@RadChuchi I’m not saying people should be silenced, but there’s a right way to protest. Riots have cause deaths of more innocent lives. There’s better ways to seek prosecution
I fully support the movement against the criminal cops, but commiting crimes in riots makes us no better than them
