@LanceOmikron@kingscoriox@Lewchube My first thought while reading was the idea of Soda. We got Coke, Pepsi, and RC Cola. Then you got the OFF Brand, which is Shasta Cola. All are types of Coke and come from their respective companies.

Funny how quickly things can change...
This short clip literally shows how the lack of sprint helped him win a fight:
Fighting the guy with the needler, they both realized their shields were low, and both had to reload
Instead of risking the melee, Rebs strafes back to create spacing and to finish his (faster) reload, punishing the other guy for trying to chase. Yes he died from an explosion, but even without that, Rebs would've been able to shoot back first, winning the fight
If this was vanilla, needler guy could've just sprint + slide into him, getting the free melee/trade. So even if Reb read him like a book, bro just got a free burst of speed that made it pointless. Like going to make a smart chess move that is countered because the other guy just moved his piece faster
TL;DR: I will always stand by that Halo's slower pace is far more interesting and fitting for the franchise. The flow is smooth, predictable, and strategic
@SlyPerformer From my understanding, once we hit "the reveal," the Manga side of the community got super loud to the point where it probably ruined it for the Anime Only. I also haven't finished the manga but everyone is telling me it's not worth finishing. Lack luster ending
All the controversies and crap that the anime community be going through lately got me returning back to a closet fan. I'm not about to have a whole collection of shut-ins make me out to be the villain just cause I saw some anime ta tas like come on now.
