From time to time I write about online privacy and open source, but more often I translate articles about online privacy and open source, and here's where you can find it:

The only thing I miss in mobile Vivaldi is a full-fledged password manager. At least like in Firefox, or better like in Maxthon (with encrypted notes). But smartphones still don't have an email client or RSS reader. Old projects are more important than new ones.
Once Elon Musk compared AI development to summoning demons. But why are demons still waiting? What are they waiting for? Why do they need AGI if they could pretend to be the very first chat bots all those years ago? It was just a metaphor, guys, not a leaked Illuminati secret.
@BlackMo98738439 What about mesh? Briar, Bitchat, Brigefy?
No service that requires phone number will work: you just won't be able to receive an SMS with a code. This is a worst-case scenario, but it's entirely possible. In Russia, you'd no longer be able to access Telegram, WhatsApp or Signal.
The software cops use to search for evidence of exploitation is developed by someone with a less-than-stellar reputation, and no one sees a problem with it? What if Thorn's Spotlight just delete from DBs someone who "shouldn't" be found?

I took my spare HDD out of the box, installed AntiX 26 on it, switched the blocked Greek repository mirrors to Russian ones, and installed the proprietary nvidia-legacy-340xx-driver for the antediluvian Nvidia GeForce GT 220M, and it worked noticeably worse than the open nouveau.
Solus was the first "big" Linux distribution I ran on my old Asus N61 (before that, I ran only the extremely lightweight AntiX, Puppy, and Slax), and Solus made me love dark themes.
That's still "my" distro, but my hardware isn't quite up to the task anymore. But if it could...
Have you noticed how the creators of absolutely every video about Palantir founder Peter Thiel then edit out the part about his personal life? As if that's the only thing he wants to hide. Quite telling, isn't it? No need to be shy, Pete!

I was helping my relatives at their cottage and met 3 attractive, but very loud girls. They were looking for a lake and got lost, and I was the only one not hiding from sun.
It was the first time when someone so openly tried to seduce me. I liked it, but I didn't fall for it!
Bitchat is well optimized, but it doesn't adapt to changing font sizes. It works fine with small fonts and standard 100% zoom, but if you increase the font size or zoom level, parts of the interface just won't fit on the screen.
I ran antiX 26, just to decide whether it's worth messing with FunOS settings if antiX already has everything I need. Not worth it. They fixed almost all old issues: antiX has never been friendly to newbies, but now it seems that's changing. I hope my UI translation was helpful.
This year the White Nights Marathon in St. Petersburg was really borring. The only shining light was Soukaina Atanane from Morocco: this was her third marathon in Russia, but her first as a participant, not a pacemaker.
