I deliberately prolonged this book because the characters were somewhat part of my life and I couldn’t wait to catch up on their lives.

The characters and stories are so real and touching.

I loved In Every Mirror She’s Black and I enjoyed this as well. Though I couldn’t remember everything from the first book I loved catching up with the women and seeing their lives unfold. I’ll read from this author again and again despite not everyone loving her. 4.5⭐️
